If you don't have Campaign Paradiso yet, I'd be glad to post Ko Dali's "statements" that she put out that are on the same page which really put the quote into a much better framework.

Does it say in the book if the prisoner is more than a random guy. I'm just thinking that maybe the prisoner was one of the soldiers who failed to protect/save Ko Dali, which would make the "your failure" quite literal, and I can't check for myself since my book is at home... and I'm not.

The prisoner is a Shasvastii.

Keeping in mind that they do not speak English as their mother tongue, I like this stylisation because it is not only trying to convey what they want to say but also how they say it.

Compare English and Chinese for a similar difference in language.

I don't think anyone needs/wants a box of Moiras.

That could change if they look cool though.

Moiras are great in the backfield while Riot Grrls are good out on the attack. An ARM3, Religious, Optical Disruptor, behind cover with an HMG, is a great defender.

Yeah, but it's yet another Bakunin unit release interfering with a Corregidor starter box release.

At this point, it's more likely that Bakunin will have every single possible profile released before Corregidor sees their starter box--or even sees the Iguana, which should have came out in the same general timeframe as the Lizard.

Oh, and the Gecko?

I don't even expect to see that until two books down the line with the kind of attention that Corregidor gets. I think the Wildcat with HRL will get a resculpt before the damn Gecko even comes out.

I can agree with you there. Bakunin has gotten to much lately. Corregidor needs to be next for sure.

Bao makes sense if it was already delayed and Yu Jing hasn't anything with the Paradiso yet.

I'm curious how they'll end up releasing Penthesilea. It's a single model on a motorcycle, and most motorcycle boxed sets have thus far been two-per-box.

I also feel that it may be too big for just a single blister.

So the curiosity remains on whether Penthesilea will be boxed or not.

Of course the Reverend Custodiers are going to be a favorite. They're a good profile with good AVA, good models, and priced almost the same as the Reverend Moiras in game terms. Their weapon options aren't as good, but putting Custodiers with Moderators and other Bakunin units more than makes up for that.

You would think that Corvus Belli would use some common sense, but clearly not. Between a potential Reverend Moiras box and a Mobile Brigada box or an Intruders box or the Corregidor starter box or any number of potential boxes for Corregidor, you'd think they would wise up and release something for Corregidor--who at this moment actually have no boxed sets beyond an outdated "generic" Nomad starter box(and I'm only giving this one as a Corregidor box since out of the box only two models, the Zero and Securitate are not Corregidor profiles) with sculpts as old as the Reverend Moiras versus the five boxed sets of Bakunin.

Bah. Just bah.

Gorgos are most likely going to be a blister pack rather than a boxed set. They seem to be like they would be Ajax sized, tops. It's going to depend upon their synchronized servants.
The likelihood of a Gecko release is going to depend upon whether it is done via CAD or not. If CAD, it's gonna be a loooong time. There's also still the matter of the missing Iguana TAG, which was reputed to be a November release with the Raicho but is still notably missing. The Gecko though, from what I remember of CB's comments, is going to be a two model boxed set similar to most remotes where you get the parts to build the different profiles.

I think it's gonna be dependent upon the size and if they give her a scenic base or not.

If no scenic base and she's smaller than the Sphinx? Blister.
Scenic base and same size as the Sphinx? Box.

I'm with you, on Bakunin, they should get a year off why Corrregidor get a chance to catch up. Mostly becouse I own all but 4 Bakunin model out all the already released models and the Grrls are on there way, and I want the starter set before I really staaert on Corregidor.

But, saying that you mus really dislike the Moiras if you missed there now AVA4 meaning, 5 man ODD teams are here. Would of had money on ALEPH being the first to do that. But the got there 4 man no limit to how many link thing going on.

You mean they can link with Ksanagi to be a 5 man link? So they need a character to do it.

Yup, just like getting a non-Order Sergeant 5 man link team in MO or a 5 man link Gwailos, and a few others. It's almost common.

lol It makes a bit more sense for Aleph now. I'm guessing they would revised them to be a bit more armored.

Given the recent discussion on what models need more a resculpt was Moiras (and followed closely to like custodiers) I think CB is quite cleaver and ahead of the trends in what needs to be resculpted and reimagined, Coregidor? yes it will get its sweet star time, but loose ends must be finished, makes quite sense to finish bakunin since it is close to finish anyway while injecting the odd coregidor model, to start warming up for its time.

They'll have years to do what needs to be "resculpted and reimagined" if their track record from Human Sphere to Paradiso is anything to go by.

For "loose ends", let's look at things which are actually needed first. No resculpts unless they can actually fit into a boxed set, like the Wulver Grenadiers are reputed to be done.

An entirely new box of Moiras is pointless and reeks of the typical Corvus Belli thinking of "Chicks sell better than dudes".

The majority of the profiles being based around the multi rifle isn't really a concern. Look at recent boxes - Druze all 4 with the standard combi-rifle armament, one with a hacker device, one with an LGL attachment, and to mix it up, one without a rifle but carrying a DEP, which they all have. Odalisques - two have the SMG/Contender loadout (though each only showing one of the weapons for variety), a rifle for the Haris leader and a Boarding Shotgun. Briscards have two Marksmen rifles, one Assault Pistol and one Sniper Rifle. Loup Garou have two Viral Rifles, a Boarding Shotgun and an ADHL.

So Moiras having mostly multi rifle profiles, but still two different weapons, doesn't hurt the variation at all. it's actually standard practice with squad boxes to have at least two with a standard weapon, and give the others different weapons. Honestly, I think you're just looking for reasons to not like the box because it's not Corregidor

I'll give you the AVA 3 argument though. A box of 4 for a unit you'll only ever field 3 of maximum seems strange.

I don't have to "look for reasons" to not like the box.

I don't like it. It's going to be another Riot Grrls box, I can almost guarantee it.
And Noir was actually correct as Moiras went to AVA 4 in Campaign: Paradiso.

Does not change the fact though that it's ridiculous that the Reverend Moiras are going to get a unit box before the Mobile Brigada--which has 4 profiles, one of which is a duplicate with the Lieutenant skill added on(Multi Rifle+Light Flamethrower) and an AVA of 6--or before the Intruders, who have 5 profiles(3 duplicates but one missing Grenades, one with an ADHL in addition to Combi Rifle+Light FT, one Multi Sniper, one HMG) and an AVA of 5 to match are even considered for a resculpt/box.

Bakunin has received far too much in terms of the sculpting time. Some of it was necessary when Human Sphere first came out, I won't argue that. But the fact that they've continued to receive so much is just downright silly.

(sorry mate I know you feel pretty strongly about it! I'm sure those models will come in time - I can understand the sculptor wanting to continue on a trend though, while the style is fresh in his mind, as Psychotic Storm says).

They have a very limited pool of sculptors, and said sculptors jump from faction to faction with no real issues.

It's an excuse nothing more.

To throw a bone out there, FRP has a few Infinity guys left in thier Specials box.

I picked up a metric gak ton of Ariadna last week, and will probibly be be adding another few factions later.

They have some Pan Oceania and Yu Jing in quantity left.

I love the game, by the way. Makes me feel like back in the day with a brand new shiney excited.

They are a bit slighter, (if thats the word for it), but they make up for it in the details.

New news: Adepticon Tournament has reached 30 players! I believe you can still put your self on a waiting list if it expands.

Also, I will be doing demos of Infinity and I hope to meet some of you that might be there.

Quite glad the Moiras are getting redone as I love the background but the older models are an embarrassment.
