The Artbook is definitely interesting, as are the diorama figs.

You are right about the Old Man of the Mountain being the leader of the Hassasin Sect. He'd make a good VIP for my missions

And right abotu the logo as well - seems like the Mercenary faction will be Kaplan / Haqqislam inspired.

Wow some really exciting news - artbook will be nice, and I'm intrigued by what the 'collectors' miniatures will be. I think a lot of people just paint the minis for the game, but will never play with them, so quite cool that they will acknowledge that!

Also the mercenary TAG and new sectorial sounds really cool!

yes they can get out, usually when the TAG gets popped. Practically it doesn't make much difference (and often I suppose whatever weapon is pointing at the wreckage of the TAG isn't going to have much trouble with an un-armoured pilot!) but I think it's quite a cool little touch. I use a an Alguacile for my Lizard TAG pilot, I think there are a number of miniatures in the range that are suitable.

Its a cool addition in the rules, but also an AROing pistol that can cause serious damage sometimes.....

Not my downed pilots of course it......

Wow some fantastic stuff. I love the O-Yoroi and Scarface! I'd get them even though I don't do JSA or QK.

I think the Anaconda might be a TAG for Corregidor. The name is in line with the Salamander, Lizard, and Geko. Also the colors on the symbol are Red and Black, which are common colors for their symbols and armor. I think it will sort of be like Mercs in QK but for Corregidor. It's a Merc that can be in a few other armies but mainly for Nomads.

Edit: Also, I did a quick google-fu on Anaconda and they are native to South America. Corregidor is mainly made up of SA natives.

Considering that Corregidor is well known for operating as mercenaries, that also fits...

Maybe in the case of the O-Yoroi pilot, since the TAG itself is pretty obviously influenced by Evangelion, the "stockings" will be part of her plugsuit of sorts.

Notice the similarities of Eva's plugsuit with the O-Yoroi pilot's suit in the concept art: the two headclip thingies in her hair most of all. I'm guessing with the "skirt" and the stockings part, this (non-canon) version of the plugsuit is what they were after:




Of course it's total cheesecake. Just want to point out the reference.

And this pushes me to buy JSA because... reasons. Evangelion. I wish that the pilot is not only available on a Diorama but also as a game piece.

I'll paint her up as a long-haired version of Rei Ayanami, then paint the O-Yoroi as an EVA 00

I'll have a nice display cabinet once my new house is built. Perfect for this kind of thing.

When are these minis likely to drop? And will they be limited release? Or collectors minis available for a long while?

In some cases it would be possible to paint a "cheesecake" figure in a more modest style.

I've read something about existing minis having alternate versions with battle damage. Characters like William Wallace, Jean D'Arc and such. I don't know if this is real or just an idea, though.

The first ones quoted in the previous post by Alkasyn will be out in summer, I don't exactly wich month. That month's releases will be only collector's models, no minis for gaming. I don't think they will be limited runs. Other models will be published in the future in addition to the normal releases in some months.
