Good, I wouldn't want to miss out on that Eva-ish model. Thanks

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Any resculpting of Joan is more than welcomed by me.

I see quite a few of this line finding their way towards the tabletop.

Well, being almost dioramas CB won't be self restricted to the gaming requirements, so that might be a hard thing to do :\

Actually.. this whole development gives CB a whole lot of manoeuvring space with their modelling, as well as a bit of a get-out clause.

If you think about it, unless they have a ridiculous pose or base most of these models will probably find their way into people's collections for gaming - even if as was pointed out above that wrecked TAG just becomes a scenario objective.

But at the same time it will circumvent the 'OMG that pose means I can't hide behind cover' and 'look at the size of its footprint!' comments that you sometimes get with the more out-there posing, as the miniatures have clearly been intended for a modelling purpose. The people who want to use them for games outside of ITS will be able to (assuming that there is a 'gaming equivalent of the miniatures, such as with Joan d'arque).

Hey!

It is Wednesday May 29th - shouldn't we have the latest Infinity previews for the month by now?

We're still in time for a new record.

Calling them May releases is going to feel beyond stupid.

That's what I was thinking!

We're about to get May's previews...in June!

So, May's models will be available for purchase here in the USA...in July?!?

A little late, but I love that preview... just wish the price-per-model for Infinity wasn't so high. Makes sense since basically everything acts like a character, but it makes it hard to impulse buy

$10-ish isn't in the impulse buy range for you?

Though to be fair, I'm not sure what they'd go for 'in store'...

How does price compare figure to figure. Like Finecast to Inifnity to Malifaux?

Infinity blisters are on par with GW's "Character" blisters.

No idea on Malifaux though.

I saw someone was talking about that in a browse through the 'Popular Threads' section yesterday. The first post was messy and illogical so I didn't read it but it was quite a few pages long so someone might have improved upon the findings.

They work out a bit cheaper in the UK - think its about £10-15 for a GW character these days, about £7-8 for an Infinity (one off) miniature.

Works out about £10-12 for some of the bots/bikes etc, and £25+ for TAGs.

Down here an (Eldar) Avatar costs as much as a TAG or starter box, and the finecast characters cost about twice as much as most human-size models. I've only got one plastic Malifaux character, and I don't remember exactly how much it cost, but I think it was only a bit more expensive.

Or it might just be that final push I need to just say screw it and do full scale conversions for an amazing PanOceania force.

They're releasing a lot of models on this month's preview, if Corregidor is surely true. I wouldn't fault them for being a bit late.

Diomedes and the Santiago Knight are both on Giraldez's blog, for anyone who wants better shots of them:

As much as I'd like to witness the wrath of Kan(Eh? Eh?! ), I'd much rather see more Infinity conversions!

Kan, can you do both? After all you're our entertainment around here between releases, buddy.

Also, you should open a thread or pm me about that army, I'd like to hear more without derailing us.

Corregidor looks fantastic!

However impending Kan rant about the poses/style in 3... 2... 1...
