Those look absolutely stunning, my trepidation lies with not being to do anything close to doing them justice when I try and paint them!

I regularly play Infinity with a guy who's won like 4 golden demons and used to be with the Heavy Metal team (he's a commission painter now) and even *he* is in awe of Angel's painting skill.

Any rumors on the KTS or Druze getting something new anytime soon?

Wouldn't mind some Drones over here :(

So quick question: The guys on fancy bases (hiding behind stuff or things like that), are they cast on the base, or are they separate?

Depends on the model.

The two Zouave models are separate from the bases, the Moblot with HMG is separate from the base. Essentially you get a little metal component that you situate the body of the model into and they sit flush. All three of them use the same metal dugout, but the Moblot with HMG and Zouave with HMG have two unique pieces(the wall that the Moblot is braced against and a sandbag wall extension for the Zouave HMG) contained within.

The Nomad Moderator Sniper has a part from the ALEPH Sophotecht that he braces his gun on. The Aconticemento Regular Sniper(Sapper) has a unique base that she lays on, etc.
That's off the top of my head and I might be wrong on the Regular.

@Kanluwen: Thanks, I ordered some things to see how they would work. Got a couple ideas in my head that I need to experiment with.

The regular sniper's base is separate. I wouldn't be surprised if almost all bases in that vein were separate too.

What about the Cateran? I'm assuming he comes with his special base, because he is almost twice as expensive as other models his size (if the base isn't included)

The Cateran does come with a special base as well; which is a pretty hefty hunk of pewter.

Cool, I'm ordering him in soon and I was pretty sure that's why he's about 15 bucks when the other models are about 9, but I wanted to be sure.

Actually it comes with two bases, a normal and a big one. It includes some big metal pieces to make some ruined stairs. So you can choose between using just one stairs piece and the small base, or using the larger one with all the stuff.

You can also use all of them in the small base and have a flying ruined staircase.

Check out the begginers sticky mate. There should be a link to Penemue's Unboxing thread. That way you can see what comes in the box before you buy.

That CG site is awesome! I'll be looking through there a lot. That is probably art that CB should be commissioning some more of. It really makes Infinity seem more futuristic.

..And it stands to reason that the moment I order a bunch of miniatures for my own 'Mercenary' force (well.. Haqqislam Qapu Kalhki, which are pretty much mercs from their description!) then a load of official stuff gets announced!

Oh well.. am happy for everyone else until my willpower breaks and I buy these as well

Two things to note:

1) The May previews(Corregidor!!!) are up for preorder at The Warstore now. They went up for preorder yesterday...but I wasn't about to let anyone else know that until after I'd preordered my Corregidor box.
Assuming the usual time difference they'll come into stock on June 20th, shipping out that day.

2) Yasbir posted on the official Infinity forums today that:

Going off their prices, it's $17.99 and they don't know when it will come out.

That's what made me search around Kan - I saw that same listing on the Warstore and though... huh?

$18 for that seems nice!

It does, although it basically looks like one floor of a MAS apartment with a couple of tabs and a ladder on the side.
