Btw, someone posted a Gecko heavy list in here a while back but I can't find it. Could I request a repost or link please? Or open a thread in the sub section because I'd like to hammer out a similar list for my own use next year. Thanks and sorry I forgot who it was.

As I am just getting into Infinity and sorting things out, I have a question on that list. Are most of those WildCat models not available yet? I see there are only like 2 listed for sale on the Warstore. I know the Iguana and Gecko aren't available yet.

The Spitfire and Heavy Rocket Launcher are both available by themselves while the Wildcats with Combi Rifle+Light Flamethrower are available only in the Corregidor starter box at the moment.

What most likely will happen is that we will see a third blister OR a boxed set of some kind separately which will include a Hacker, Combi Rifle/Light Flamethrowers x1, and 2x Boarding Shotgun Wildcats.

Called it on the dumb hair but the model is nice otherwise.

In geneal I'm getting the feeling lately, that hair in Aleph isn't meant to look like hair. So my way to look at it is changing. I think just the anime vibe isn't enough to justify the ludicrous sculpts. Aleph has pretty much the creaziest hair-dos of all (nomads are fethed up too, but that's fitting their eccentricity). Mk.3, Myrm hacker etc. There has to be more to it than just style.
In preparation of painting my Asura I have decided to treat i.e. paint her plait like fiber muscle. Why wouldn't they give her a subtle extra limb, that she can use to strangle, grapple and whip with?
Under these assumptions maybe I'll warm to Nessaie's hair too.

The rest of the model...sweet diggity, can't wait to paint it.

Thanks for the lists both of you. I had it in my head that Von Skyfury or maybe Pacific had posted one with Hellcats and Geckos at 300pts but I could be wrong. Either way you've given me something to think about.

I'm going to try and get together a 300pt list with 4 Geckos and something cool looking like Hellcats. Those Cats or on the higher point end for that size of list though, you can't take any nice profiles or your order starved. I'll have a look and see if I can find a cheerleadery link team that I can fall in love with. I'm not up to date on my Corregidor so their might be an obvious answer to that, I'll know shortly.

Nessiae looks awesome. I'm not in love with the hair but I do quite like it. Then again I'm a big fan of the Anime overtones that they slap on here and there. I think I'd be tempted to remove the pigtails and pin one to the back of her head as a funky ponytail.

Doing 4 high cost models like Geckos (about 60 each?) and still having a functioning list is hard. I was trying for the longest time to do a 4 Asawira link but I get the feeling CB just put them in as a trollface option, knowing you'll never get such awesomeness to work. I settled for a link of 3 with a very basic force backing it up (Barid hacker, Farzan FO, Kameel EVO, 2 Ghulam rifles, Ghulam doctor, Ghulam Lt). It's the same problem you have with a TAG - the list becomes a one trick pony, and if the link goes down (and it'll have the biggest bullseye ever on it) you're left with a massively uphill battle.

This is the TAG list I plan on late next year after the Gecko and Alguacil box and out.

Dare I say, but I think that's actually a non-cheescake mini! I really like the looks of her, wacky hair and all. I'm really jealous looking at those pics though because the Thorakitai that I painted up don't look anywhere near that nice. Hell, mine just look plain amateurish. I think next time I paint an Aleph figure, I'm not even going to bother trying the studio scheme. I'll never get mine to look that good.

It's worth trying to get your minis to the studio standard though. As long as you work towards a goal feel that your painting is improving your effort isn't wasted.

If you don't like the hair, it would be easily cut off and covered over with putty to make a helmet.

Personally I like the hair but it is difficult to see from these angles if the ponytail on the left side is attached to her left arm and runs down the forearm. That might make cutting it off a little tricky. I really like the way that this mini has clothes sculpted on her midriff, baggy pants and even a belt covering her bottom. Not typical of CB female miniatures, especially the Aleph faction. This model makes me want to collect and paint an Aleph army next.

Loki, Noir - Thanks guys that helped a lot actually, the Gecko is around 50pts which means you can squeeze in 4 but it only really makes sense with an Alguacil link, Hellcats look amazing but you can only just take 5 with a lieutenant and engineer for 300pts. I also didn't realise we had an Alguacil box on the way which really changes things since I love the new hacker. I'll probably go with a list like PStorm's in that case with an Alguacil link.

And whatever that is behind the Iguana Operator for a unit dossier is something we might not have seen, considering he went out of his way to block that out.

Yeah, I know :( but I was still confused by a cover I did not know, as I own all the books

So for September we have not seen/had confirmed 2 releases.

Mormaer with HMG and the other as yet unannounced releases.
