Slightly irksome but I got this statement from Secret Weapon Miniatures when I asked if they planned on making any scenic bases with extensions or things like that.

It's far more probable that the Intruder Sniper will be released as a single blister, Even if you try to argue me that the new Hellcats were released in a blister of two. So far all "non boxed" snipers have come in a single blister: Lasiq sniper, Djanbazan sniper, Moderator sniper, Bagh Mari sniper, Nisse sniper, Gao Rael sniper, ...

Needless to say there's no way CB would release a 3 non basic light infantry blister.

So you haven't been keeping up with CB and there new release plan it seems. Changes are coming, baby.

I really loved that VID I really love CB!

The intruder sniper does not have the the first Nomads pistol (the female morloks do), but does seem to be the first non combat attachment Nomads pistol.

I can see the sniper be bundled with another intruder if they decide to keep the same format with the hellcats, meaning a two models blister been replaced by a two models blister, the hacker would not be a bad option for that.

Wow...I'm a little bummed out now to have just bought the old Intruper sniper...At least now I know not to bother painting it, since this beauty is right around the corner.

Intruder looks like a nice update. Nothing exciting but a solid and necessary update.

And yeh that's the first pistol for Nomads, as PStorm said, the only other one has a CC attachment. Looks like he's got a good grip though so he's no good for female conversions. The best thing to do is to pressmould the gun in pouch still I feel. I was going to try and convert the Daktaris MediKit gun but it's too much hassle.

Angel posted these today. It's PanOceania(right) and Haqqislam(left).

Only thing we can reliably have for the PanOceanian model is that it is probably not from the ASA since they use jungle bases while most of the new Military Orders models have gone from jungle bases to these city styled bases and the Neoterran models used those bases as well.

Haqqislam is a bit mindboggley.

An exact date? No. Pretty much best guesstimate is "Late October" for the actual model release. Expect preorders to go up end of September/early October.

What the contents are? More or less.
ALEPH-Alke(blister)
Nomad-Iguana(box)
Ariadna-Mormaer HMG(blister)
PanOceania release(blister)
Haqqislam release(blister)

A bit more speculation is going on and has resulted in a bit more in-depth looks at the PanOceania model. The windvanes on the model's back are distinctive of the Bagh-Mari(they use the jungle bases so it's extremely unlikely this is Stephen Rao), Knights of Santiago(one profile missing in the form of the Boarding Shotgun model currently but the pose is not a normal one for a Knight model as the model appears to be crouched down firing their weapon), and Hacker models.

Personally I'm guessing the PanO release is a Hexa Hacker or a Swiss Guard Hacker. There is enough bulk to the upper leg that it could be the trenchcoat on the Hexa bunched up for the crouched pose or the armor from a Swiss Guard.

Are there any rumours about when the other configurations of the Ekdromos are going to be released? I wan't my Hacker and HMG variants damn it!

No rumors. 90% chance it will be a double blister like the Hellcat HMG/Hacker though given the attempts to reduce the number of SKUs.

Remember however that Diomedes shows just how hard the Ekdromoi are to cast.

interesting, I would really love to see a SG hacker.

The Haqq model is an odd one. With that running pose and winglets it looks like a Ragik, which are still missing their sniper profile.

It looks like the gun is a Spitfire.

What Spitfire models are missing for Haqqislam?

Hrm. Very top heavy model. Doesn't fit anything I can see in the current range. No clue.

Yup.

Haqqislam, Ariadna, Yu Jing, Combined Army, and Tohaa all use bases that he does a bit of sculpting for.

To go back to the no sniper double blister comment, the celestial guard msr is bundled with the spitfire model, so its not unheard of.

That was really annoying and cruel, and so I'm sure that no one will do that when it comes to the Nomad Gecko.

I did see this preview pic of the Gecko over on Angel's blog though:

It's understandable in this case as Alph was tormented for months.

Actually he was saying he hopes it's packed with the HMG and hacker - a triple special blister. Which they haven't done.

To be fair though, the SKU issue and the whole "We won't make boxed sets for Infiltrator units" make units like the Gao-Rael, Bagh Mari, and Intruders the best candidates for a pair of blisters--one with triple "specialist" options and one with triple "generic" options.

They'd be good candidates, but there's no precedent as yet for such a pack.
