The civvie kind of reminds me of Nina Purpleton from Gundam 0083. Maybe this one is like her, a civilian defense contractor with top secret info pertaining to prototype weapon systems. Whatever, it's a great looking model either way.
I'm probably alone here, but I'd love to see them do the ramen delivery girl from that Yu Jing art print.
Also, what are Kriza Boracs? Is there artwork of them out there somewhere?
I like that civilian figure a lot. There's plenty of ghost-hacked civvies in Ghost in the Shell and non-combatants find themselves (or even get themselves) in the way in almost any conflict. I can easily see her in special scenarios.
Some of my favorite figures in any genre are the civilians- they really flesh out the setting.

From what I understand she is a corporate executive.

None yet.
"Borac" is Serbo-Croatian for "fighter" though.
However we did get this bit about Tunguska as well:
-Tunguska will have a troop called Grenz or Grenzers seems like a LI with MSV lvl1
"Grenz" is a term used to describe Croatian or Hungarian light infantry who operated in a skirmishing role for the Habsburg Monarchy during the Napoleonic era.

As for TAGs? You need to watch the original Appleseed Manga - it's very easy to smuggle multiple large armoured suits into civilian areas, and for then to have a massive fight!
You've intrigued me - but should I be reading the manga or watching the anime?
And, which title exactly, please!
Ah sorry I missed that Alpharius, this was in the original movie Anime - a bit old now (pre-CGI days), and the ending winds off a bit, but some of the action sequences (and the 'land mates' in particular) are really cool http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appleseed_(OVA)

True translation? Crisis Fighter or something similar would sound in English. I do not know the rules of Serbian and Croatian language but it sounds off in my own, like it's really rough translation, something I'd get when trying to translate German words used in industry. Maybe it sounds better in Spanish.
I also tried to say "Borac" with English in mind. Suffice to say, unless pointed out it's a Serbian word, I'd had no idea how to say it. Adding "s" for plural form only added confusion.

Wikipedia actually.
And considering that Tunguska is a faction which is made up of people from what would best be considered the former Soviet Bloc countries and Russia proper the context actually works quite well.

Crisis Fighter does have a certain ring to it, sounds like the name of some kind of 90's Japanese Shoot-em-up
The 25% off sale at Total Wargamer ends this evening, currently toying with new faction I need to buy.. torn between a Military Order force, regular Pan O (with Jotum.. although now that Tunguska is on the way makes me less inclined!) and the Nomad Corregidor force to go with the 'space station' terrain I want to make with that new Battle Systems kickstarter...
This pics have not the best quality ever, but we have the profiles Pics are taken from the Spanish Forum, and I think they were taken yesterday in a huge tournament. It's in Spanish, so if you are interested in some particular skills or whatever feel free to ask and I'll try to translate.

I'm disappointed. I rarely take the general force and I'm waiting for NCA re sculpts (armoured cavalry, fusiliers and new medium infantry) before diving in the sectorial. Granted I do not know how Dire Foes will operate and how spec ops shall fit in the new scenarios.

IMO Yasbir ((Infiltration, Holoprojector L2 AND smoke grenade RLY !!!) and lupe (mimetism PZF BS 12 for 22 pts) are over cheated
and Bipandra is totaly useless: medic in fireteam are useless and alone she have nothing. trash profile.
Bipandra has WIP of 13 for PanO its fantastic, she is aloso a Specialist which is a plus and a doctor inside a fireteam is quite useful either to keep the fireteam alive or be escorted with bodyguards.
To be honest I would be more afraid of Non Infiltrating Yasbir, Holoprojector lvl 1 in a Muyib link team is fantastic I think he will be part of my Bahram fireteam.

Considering she's in a skirt, heels and collared blouse, holding a briefcase, chances are she's a civilian, like her profile suggests, going to work in an office where such garb is normal for humans of the feminine sex. I wouldn't expect her looking in place in on a jungle board. On a city board she fits right in as a civilian working in the area.

Well, we'll be seeing a whole -lot- of these guys on the table.
I'm quite happy with Yuriko, actually. Not too powerful, but her gear layout will make for some really interesting play. I almost always use helper-bots for my engineers, but with hyperdynamics 1 and a scary anti-armor weapon I think she'll be part of the banzai charge pretty often (which usually happens when my heavy hitters all die and the link team goes on the offensive).

The fire team is possible only for NCA. Apart seemingly random SWC tax and medikits, her profile is on pair with similar troops, like Kaplan. Still doesn't change the dislike I have for her statistics. In an instant I'd trade extra ARM for mimetism or hyperdynamics.
Other profiles look amazing compared to her.

There are many reasons why a civilian can be found on a battlefield and be entirely inappropriately dressed for the situation.

Doctors in infinity cant be in fire team, U cant use bot in fireteam. She cant be alone.
So you can use her medic skill only on hers fusillier fireteam. Who the feth is gonna waste order to (fail) heal some pompom at 10 pts ? No one.
her only use is in neoterra sectorial (that is the worst sectorial of infinity in term of diversity) and even there take a deva hacker for few pts more, he will be 10 time more usefull.
just compare her stat line with lupe LOL
CH: Mimetism, Specialist Troop, V: Dogged Nanopulser, Panzerfaust, Smoke Grenades VS Doctor, Specialist Troop Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun
for the same amount of points xD
Seriously CB just HATE PanO ... all the fun is for military order the rest ... well ... dead.

Doctors don't have to use Servants to be effective. If she's already in the Fireteam she's already in the right place to heal a model that's just gone down, for example a Fusilier HMG or ML.

Uh, no. This is the army that has the Cutter. As for NeoTerra, rumors are that they will be getting a -lot- of cool stuff in the next book, possibly including a remote that shoots mines (that's right, mine the whole board from where you stand).
There are a few less-effective units in each army (Yu Jing;s Pheasant is a good example). PanO has plenty of killer units, plus arguably the best boosted stat in the game (BS). CB are definitely not hating on the boys in blue.

I think it's just a case of each sub-faction getting padded out in turn. The MO have had a lot of attention so far, with a good part of their roster released (the Seraph being one of the more notable absences), but I should imagine more stuff is on its way once the sculptors turn their attention in different directions.

I know, I'm just saying this civvie actually looks like a civvie completely unrelated to the armed forces. Just someone going to work. Which is something that definitely fits Infinity, given the lack of battlefields outside of Paradiso.

Barzam wrote: Seeing as how Pan-O is the only faction getting 3 new figures out of Dire Foes, I'd say CB likes them just fine.
Would trade (official joke) Angus for one of those lovely female civilians. I'm getting the Dire Foes, there hasn't been a new release that would hype me in a long time, most of the releases being centred around Military Order. Considering the interviews the sectorial is very popular (for some reason), however it does leave others to wait.
ITS changed a lot of things, the importance of specialists, mission objectives and the game being limited to three rounds. Cutter is a big bully that enjoys straight confrontation but my own community tends to veto such missions, because simply no one enjoys to play them. I feel CB wants to avoid things like him in the future. It would not surprise me to see more K1 or similar options in play, anyway not to digress too much. ITS wants specialists (certain armies are very lacking them) and it's easy to see why many would feel disappointed when seeing Bipandra profile and then someone's like Lupe or Tohaa. If you're one of us who also isn't very hot on MO you probably also had great hope for this specific PanOceania release. It is not over until scenarios are fully shown (new ITS and Dire Foes) and if it all fails, there's always the next release.

and they give us Barbie instead of Batgirl !
