Maybe she's about to put the helmet on?

I don't get the fascination with pointing out the allegedly deal killer of a model not wearing a helmet.

Artistic license and a human face over a featureless hightech ceramic plastic dome is OK every now and then!

Not saying it's a dealkiller it's just really puzzling and immediately the first thing that I noticed.

The scenario is called "Viral Outbreak", she's wearing a Hazmat suit and is included with Hasht(Shasvastii) and Aelis(Tohaa) plus this is a game where there is actually an attribute for "Biotechnological Shield" which is for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical attacks...but then they decide she has to be unhelmeted?

Is it really too much to ask for the Hazmat in Viral Outbreak to be wearing a helmet when almost the entirety of the other VIPs(Angus being the notable exception) are almost all "postergirls"?

So you can see parts of Aelis and Hasht in this.

It may just be angel working his brand of magic but that looks like it might be Corvus' best face to date.

Agreed!

Too bad she wasn't wearing that helmet so you couldn't tell though, eh?

Well considering they bothered making an entire Dire Foes set predicated upon an inside joke, they could at least have bothered to make a single civilian that isn't a postergirl.

Please, not this.

I'm relieved that the 2nd wave of Dire Foes has models that I actually like - the office civilian, Yasbir and the Tohaa Spec are definitely things I'll get.

From Shae, though.

The Tohaa looks really good from what we see and no surprise the Shasvastii has blades.

The helmet is only a problem if you think the unit the model represents or any model for that matter, is just standing in there pose the whole fight.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

New profiles are available but for some reason, Yasbir's is not among them. WTF?

Odd, however you should be able to find his rules in the official Infinity army builder.

I love the Hazmat. I love when the minis don't have that standard face. However the colour scheme is different than the chosen at Gencon

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

That is an absolutely, fething beautiful miniature. It deserves both swearing, and use of italics

Agreed Casey - definitely one of the best face-sculpts to date.

Even if the other 2 miniatures in that pack are literally piles of excrement on a resin base, I will be getting that Dire Foes pack with her in it..

Fine, I'll likely be happy to take the two sensible minis in the box off of your hands

You can count me among those who find it odd to produce a figure in a hazmat suit and not actually have her wearing the helmet. That does kind of defeat the purpose of it. Plus, maybe it's just me, but she looks an aweful lot like the Maghariba Guard Pilot. Her helmet looks kind of like the kind the Hassassin wear, too. If she'd been wearing it, maybe she could have been used as a "counts-as" figure.

I'm not saying she isn't well sculpted though. That figure looks great. I just find it odd do to a hazmat suit wearing figure that isn't actually wearing the gear sealed up.

Actually, with a spare arm and some greenstuff to fix up around the shoulders, it should be doable to put the helmet back on. Doesn't quite fix the pose, but it would help a lot.

Now I'm hoping her hazmat suit is backless just to further piss people off.

The lack of imagination amongst wargamers and roleplayers continues to astound me.

All of them, I think.

Plus the .pdf is up: http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/downloads/army-lists/[en]NewProfiles.pdf

Bipanda does indeed have a MedKit and not an AutoMediKit.

Welp. That's kinda silly. The Medkit literally does nothing, since there's ZERO units that Bipandra could access in which a Medkit is superior to Doctor.

Wow. Both Yasbir and the civvie look phenomenal. Even if Konstantinos looks bad (doubtful) that pack will be great for me. Yasbir will make an excellent standin for a lot of different Hassassin.

Anyone got a link for the Tohaa model? I missed it.

Look up. The post I made of a big image has part of the Shasvastii and Tohaa models.

Oh cool, the Tohaa model looks like a femal Gao Tarsos going by the leg armour, though I'll assume without the jump pack.

I forgot the Hazmat civvie was from that box. Looks like I'll definitely be buying both boxes. If the Shasvastii spec ops is good, it might convince me to put together my force I started putting together before my Tohaa.
