Subject: INFINITY News & Rumors - Dire Foes Preview on Pg.218!
All I get from the video is, Max is final be getting his resculpt for non-ITS winners. Oh... and a ELO ranking system.
Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Elo system, small letters are used as it is named after Arpad Elo. Many games modify the system and use it as a basis for matchmaking. I do hope the negativity that follows in the public Elo ranking system does not creep into Infinity players.
More emphasis on a specific specialists and spec ops. Perhaps not so surprising, shortly before the Paradiso release I can recall an interview where Mr. Carlos was saying something in the line of: "Infinity has beautiful miniatures and we at Corvus want to give the collectors a chance to use them all". Though the (Paradiso) scenarios do shuffle the normal lists and change the feeling of the game, I didn't enjoy them. Certain armies have no problems of fielding any kind of specialists. Of course these are only first thoughts, looking forward on hearing more.

As much as I'm not too much of a fan of Konstantinos's and Yasbir's overly dramatic posing, I think they would look amazing when placed next to one another in a diorama.
Sort of like this:

These miniatures look excellent. Think the dramatic posing suits them in the sense that these guys are meant to be heroes, not red-shirts (so to speak)
But the important point - PsychoticStorm, what do you think?
The Konstantinos model is making me rethink buying the set. And not in the good way. I really do not mind the pose but the detail on the arms look too much like muscle and I do not like muscle on armoured models.

And something that's bugged me about the Tohaa gear, what's the point of those ammo belts running into their arms? Do they have weapons built into their arm armor?

They are not ammo belts. It seems to be a containment system of some sort for symbiotic armor on the Ektros and Hatails, but as of right now I do not think there has been an explanation as to what precisely they are.

I'm guessing it has to be something to do with the symbiote armour - the Tohaa concept is one of organic machinery and devices, and of blurred lines between the two, having the ammunition feeding into their armour I think falls under the same kind of idea.
That video was very cool, would love to see some high res photo of all of the Dire Foes miniatures arranged together like that..

It's not Armour, its Fibermuscle.

Its still muscle.
Though i have had time to mull over the model, I just hope not all the arms are pure muscle. I still plan to buy the set with yasbir.
Also are those armour plates on the upper arm?

It looks like it! Also, you can't argue with PsychoticStorm about that topic as the miniature is him!
It shouldn't make any difference, unless something has changed in the new tournament rules. As long as the mini is on the base it was supplied with its good. I still have the old pretas on 40mm bases and all of my sapper models are mounted on 25mm bases because thats what they came with.
Your Sogarat should be fine, but bear in mind that the Morat look that they will be getting the Corregidor treatment(a revamp of the range). I would not be surprised to see Sogarat given a larger base size similar to Ajax and bulkier models.
