To be fair, the thing stopping me is the lack of a Link team box to base a list around. If they released one, I'd jump on Shasvastii pretty quickly.

Seed soldiers aren't sold in boxes.
They're part of the SEF "starter" box, but that box is to put it lightly "Not Good".

As of right now, the only boxed set that the Shasvastii have is the Sphinx.

Calibans are supposed to get a link team box set, but it is taking quite some time to come out. The Gwailos are now a "complete" unit that could feasibly be repacked into a single box with one of each option--or double Multi Rifles/Boarding Shotguns, a single model of the one which is not doubled(or a new Multi Rifle/Boarding Shotgun sculpt), and the Spitfire with the Gwailos HRL remaining a separate blister.

I was actually putting together a list using Seed Soldier FO's to let a Haiduk Guided Multisniper have some fun.

Wow you have a lot more self-restraint than I do Knight, think I've got miniatures from every range except for Ariadne and Tohaa, and just about 4 full forces now. Piles of unbuilt stuff as well..

Angel is teasing this as February releases. The only model bases which can be seen with any detail on them are the two TAGs...which have NOMAD BASING!

The infantry are potentially from the NeoTerran Capitalene starter force. I'm not sure about that as it's 7 infantry and those bases seem to purposefully have had any/all detail left off of them so far.
Angel is preparing a step by step for the "new" PanOceania color scheme though with the darker blue and he's using the Swiss Guard with Missile Launcher as the first model for it.

As long as the Gecko retains that squat, bulky "Landmate" look from the Infinity art book I will definitely have to pick one or two for.. reasons!

I don't think they really ended up with a choice. I have a feeling that originally the Gecko was going to be notably smaller(given that it's described as "superheavy infantry", I think it was originally going to be Sphinx sized) but ended up being bigger. Given that the Gecko has a really high AVA for a TAG and two distinct profiles it makes sense to have a double box.

I would guess they are normal paints. I recognize the "Cold Grey" as one of the regular Vallejo colours.

The blurs don't tell me much. There might as well be Kasrkin and Penitent Engine under them.

I find my specialist options to be somewhat limited so I'd welcome the new rules. Hopefully Bipandra is finally getting clarified and possibly a new unit will join our ranks, even though this is going to push me from any Sectorial configuration for a while.

It's normal paints from the Vallejo Game color line, just hand picked by Giraldez to get the affect on the cutter (which I would totally steal if I ever did Grey Knights) with instructions on how he did it; I ordered the set through my local store but I don't have high hopes of getting it anytime soon because of their incompetence and I'm not sure of it's availability.
