It can just be to make PanO more coherent.

The only thing that should be obvious is repainted models will probably not get a resculpt anytime soon.

I hope not, the aquila guard with MULTI rifle is one of the most ugly PanO HI model
imo the aquila guard need a redesign,
its the most iconic unit of PanO and this coat is ridiculous.

cant wait for the new unit: bolts !

I disagree. his trenchcoat is not only great, but its a fast and cheap way to insulate the HI systems from the arctic cold.

Agreed - that lighter shade of blue really helps a lot!

It's difficult to pop the collar on a suit of ceramic powered armor, thus the jacket. Also where would he pin his merit badges were there no fabric on his faaaaabulous Pan O outfit?

Just be glad he's not bald and screaming.

I am still bitter about Pan O getting better HI than Yu Jing (becuase Pan O were supposed to be the best at TAGs and YJ the best at HI), so perhaps my mockery is personally motivated

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Don't play infinity, but the do make some of the best models for their scale, and they always have great paintjobs. If only I could get motivated enough to start it instead of just buying some of the models.

I much prefer the older scheme, it strikes me as being both far more utilitarian and rugged whilst being a bit more subtle as well.

Not to detract from the newer implementation of colour though, it's also lovely but gives the figure a more of a Marvel Comics 'Iron Man' look than before which, for some, might not be such a bad thing!

As for the coat? Infinity has its levels of cheesecake! I enjoy it for what it is, looks far too flimsy to be keeping out any real arctic cold however...

Any more news of the next batch of releases anyone?

You do not need it to keep the suit warm, internal heat ectr would do that, the principle of function is it keeps the heat internal, so the suit needs less power to keep warm, maybe obscure some of the heat to minimize heat signature and more importantly, keep the snow and ice from clogging the joints, especially in a storm, its a cheap and practical solution that takes into advantage old and tested technology in a new form to counter new issues.

He wears a coat because all PanO optical targetting systems are actually jacket-based.

It's why the Aquila Guard, with his mighty coat, is considered MSV class 3 and can engage targets no matter what kind of stealth they have.

Mere Nisse meanwhile, have poorer made coats and only thus have MSV class 2.

Poor Bagh-Mari forgot their coats at home since the jungle is friggin' hot, and thus can't shoot for gak with their MSV 1.

You don't need it to keep warm but keep the joints from getting clogged up? I mean, it's a nice model don't misunderstand me. I'm not knocking it. However, to my eyes that cloak looks too flimsy and loose fitting to be of any real use during any actual stormy arctic conditions, it's billowing around him as it is! Maybe he's caught in a storm?

I doubt he would have it unfastened in a stormy weather, but a proper fastened trenchcoat would not produce a really exciting model.

We are supposed to have the best technology. TAGs are only the most obvious example.

Also Yu Jing were meant to have the most HI, while PanO had the best HI. Having better HI is by design.

They really have the best, compare Shang Ji Invincible with anything PanO has to offer and you will see their supremacy.

They also have really well trained HI Invincibles are line infantry and Daofei are Infiltrating, camouflaged HI.

Just a quick heads up - apparently there are a lot of well known problems with the Morat Aggression Force Box Set!

I checked mine yesterday and I was missing one of the Morat Vanguard Infantry models.

Strangely enough, instead I had the Gorgos pilot!

I've already notified CB and gave them the complaint codes, so if you got one, check yours!

I know my split box order with Shae has been delayed because of a similar issue...

I've never had a problem with an Infinity purchase before, so this is my first time having to contact them for replacements - fingers crossed that it goes smoothly!

For elite HI,
PanO's Aquila and Swiss are superior to YuJing's Hsien and Hac Tao

For line HI
YuJing's Shang-Ji is superior to PanO's Orc, and better than most of the overcosted knights.

For Link/CC HI
YuJing's Haramaki are far superior to PanO's Magister knights.

For Mobility HI
YuJing's Su Jian is probably better than PanO's Guarda de Assaulto, but are sorta different.

For Advanced Deployment HI,
YuJing's Daofei is FAR superior to PanO's Montessa Knight

The first is debatable, Yes the Aquila has MSV lvl 3 but Hsien LT gives extra SWC, Hac Tao make better hackers.

For the second though, there is no comparison, for everybody else Heavy Infantry is at least Veteran troops, Yu Jing have 5 different heavy Infantry as Line troops.

I really wish we had more scenarios were troop classification played important role.

Some questions on this for anyone who has had to use this system in the past:

1) Is this the right e-mail address: mispack@corvusbelli.com
2) Does CB usually send an email response saying "OK, replacements are on the way!"?
3) What is CB's usual turnaround time on this?

The complete tutorial is here
http://infinitythegame.com/forum/index.php?/topic/18901-missing-pieces-complaint-codes-tutorial/

But the short answer is yes, that's the email.

CB does send an email of parts send when they send them, but if they are particularly busy and this seems to be the case if its a known problem, it has been known to send the parts without email notification.

I disagree, PanO have the best HI, except for HI line type

no one give a **** about an hsien or aquila Lt
those profiles are here to kill stuff with an HMG,
MSV lvl3 is just the best stuff in this game 3 time better than MSV lvl2 no one can argue (VS shavastii player = win)

the guarda de assalto is clearly the second best HI for 0.5/51 you have BS 15 multi with Heavy flammer and zero-V grenade !!! You can deal with all situations
and magister have BS 12 panzerfaust ... haramaki are useless unless in fireteam (freekill), magister are great in def (who play haramaki in competitive game btw?)

well if yu jing have the best HI, they can keep it :p
they have more choice - we have the best killy stuff. (our HI spécialist suxx: too expensive)

I had one arm missing from a yu jing ninja about a year ago. After I got an email response from CB it took 2-3 weeks to arrive in Canada. Took long enough but there was no hassle at all, just a waiting game.

Definitely go through the tutorial process. I emailed them about a missing seed soldier head recently w/ the complaint code, and they responded that they can only send out replacements if you follow the posted tutorial to a T. I still need to take some pics of my set w/ missing pieces so I can resubmit it.

I sent them everything they need - I think!

I still haven't heard back from them yet, so not sure if I did it right, or not!

I'll wait a bit before resending though.

1. Yes. I've done it twice and that is the e-mail I used.

2. They do send you a confirmation e-mail. If your original e-mail didn't include enough information, they'll reply asking for information. The e-mails are very personal and not in any way standardized. I usually got a reply within two business days.

3. They replied to me within two days both times. I got my part all the way from Spain within 1.5wk. I'm in the US.

Include the complaint code, obviously. I also included a photograph of the box's contents showing what I recieved. I've never had an entire miniature missing, though.

EDIT: I just checked, and both times I got a personalized reply from David Rosillo:

Hello MYNAME,

Your package is ready and will ship as soon as possible.

Best regards,

David Rosillo

Next help subject!

I'm about ready to scream...

DIRE FOES Mission Pack code entry to get the downloadble PDFs.

Ugh.

No matter WHAT I do, I always get the error message:

ERROR: Incorrect code.

So...

Are we supposed to enter the codes with or without the dash ("-") in it?

And is there anything else I could be doing wrong?

I know it isn't the whole lowercase "L" looks like a number "1" thing - because this particular code has neither!

Is ANY part of the entry process case sensitive?

Please help!
