I'll have to have a look around for it, if you do decide to take a stab at updating it, I'd love to collaborate with you, I have tons of ideas and concepts, the problem is I rarely have the time or motivation to actually put them to paper and iron-out all the details.

If you're interested, the original thread for the Iron Fists scenario is below. It was pre-Paradiso and there aren't very well-defined victory conditions (which is the first thing I'm gonna fix). The major change to the core rules is getting 2 orders per TAG (1 regular 1 irregular). Boosting ability to take TAGs and limiting hordes of infantry were the main force-selection concerns. And there are some faction-specific adjustments that allowed Ariadna and Shas to play which may need to be revisited/expanded (Steel Phalanx & Merovingians aren't there at all for example).

I'll restart a new version of that thread ASAP, unless you feel like creating you own over there.

http://infinitythegame.com/forum/index.php?/topic/8430-scenario-iron-fists-tag-vs-tag-battles/

Also: I have 4 Gundam figs that will be used as various TAGs for playtesting Iron Fists, probably a column of Jotums to start with. One of the Bellingham Warhamsters has a box of those Tachikomas that scale perfectly as Magharibas. When it happens I'll post pics to Dakka because I don't think the CB forums will allow us to show proxies in a bunch of pics that will possibly get a bit of attention. But it is GOING TO BE AWESOME.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Oh, the tease!

And that does look like one big-ass gun the Ghecko is carrying.. I was kind of hoping for a scaled rifle-type weapon (like the land-mates in Appleseed).

That is crazy. AG and SG in one starter?!? This is more points than the CA starter, not to mention the grief that that double TO is going to cause in starter box games.

Will still get it for the bolts of course, but as a starter...

I'm saddened CB continues to release certain units in a limited format. I already have Swiss, Aquila and Hexa. I imagine the new unit will be in high demand from new and old players. On the brighter side the new unit looks stunning and incorporates the sleek PanO curves I love so much. I cannot wait to have the new unit in my army and see their profiles.

Yeah, looks like they're no longer balancing the starter sets for power against each other even a little bit. The Corregidor starter is more points-efficient but also way more badass than the vanilla starters.

Also, I saw speculation on an Italian FB Infinity account that the Bolts may be combat engineers. That sounds very right for Neoterra, and would explain the bags they're carrying (you can see them in the preview video posted on Blue Table Painting).

Once the Uhlan come out, Neoterra is gonna be SCARY. Add that mine-flinging bot and you have a whole new level of involvement by specialists in the game (clearing mines and keeping the TAGs alive). Pretty cool!

The rumour comes from them being described (way back at GenCon?) as filling a similar role to Wildcats.

I pretty much like the Bolts and will make sure to own them in case they fit my playstyle well enough.

The downside: That box, while excellent in points, is an utter disappointment opportunity wise.

With a Hexa with Rifle (hacker), Swissguard with multirifle (hacker) and some other model like a specialist Bolt or something such, you could have a well playable box and still had veterans buying in a heartbeat. As such, I either have to think about how to get rid off the three models I already own or put my hopes on Shae-Konnit who will likely be overrun with orders. Not particularly thrilling prospects. Or I need to start playing double Swissguard Misslelauncher lists. ;-)

That's actually a really disappointing box. They could have added some more new sculpts/profiles.

That's a good question.

It might be mislabeled on the promo material that Blue Table Painting has or it might be only present on a specialist profile that will get a blister release later.

I'm now glad that I haven't picked up any Neoterra Capitaline figures yet - that box set is a must buy for me!

While I really like the bolts, I can understand the sentiment about the rifle versions of hexa and SG.

Me too, I'm in the lucky position of not owning any of the miniatures in that box!

Think they look beautiful, very very Pan-O.

I'm in the same boat as you Sangarn, minus owning the Swiss Guard/Aquila/Hexas.

If it had included "just" basic profiles? It would have been an almost instant buy. I love those Bolts(minus the apparently obligatory anime features on the female Bolt), but the rest is a letdown.

I thought the Bolts were going to be a WB unit... they seem rather heavily armoured, do they not? They look good, although I am not a huge fan of flowing pigtails (they must get caught in armour plates and servos...)

Neoterra has been lacking in Linkable specialists, which is what the Bolts are supposed to be.

I don't think PanOceania even has a Warband unit at this point?

The bolts are Medium Infantry, like Wildcats. So move 4-2, ARM2? The profile will be out soon enough, probably when the box is available.

I do dislike those combat heels. Ridiculous. Everything else is the usual CB quality.

Bolts are pretty much equipped exactly the same as the Bagh-Mari.

Think ARM 2, 4-2 Move, MSV1, Mimetism, and Linkable.

I think they look pretty neat. The helmet is definitely interesting. The horns are a unique touch. Very insect-like. I'd kind of like to see how they look in the old PanO scheme though.

I don't own any of those existing figures. Is it possible to arm swap the Aquila Guard with the Swiss guard? If so, at least the Swiss Guard loadout issue can be fixed.

Haha.. I think that definitely needs to be worked into a signature banner..

I wonder if the profile is going to be part of the next book to come along also?
