You know one thing about the 'new morat design' is that, especially with the Daturazi their mouths are open. Pretty sure none of the older models pre-Treitak did that?

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Is USAriadna supposed to have TAGs? Maybe it'll be some sort of modified load lifter?

Is there any possibility of Yu Jing getting a thirdsectorial? Most of the other factions have at least three, even if the third isn't fully fleshed out yet. Think we might someday see a Korean sectorial maybe?

Not really? It's been something batted around that "Ariadna is getting a TAG" and it seems to have been that the Anaconda was it.

Is there any possibility of Yu Jing getting a third sectorial? Most of the other factions have at least three, even if the third isn't fully fleshed out yet.

The next book is giving at least two Sectorials to the "main" factions.

Yu Jing--Invincible Army and a Svarlheima Sectorial.
Haqqislam--Caliphate and bikery Sectorials.
PanOceania--Svarlheima and Varuna Sectorials.
Nomad--Tunguska and possibly the Black Hand. Apparently there are some issues with the conceptualizing of the Black Hand which is leading to them potentially shelving the idea as a Sectorial of its own and instead rolling it into the Tunguska Sectorial like how Bakunin got the Observance.
Ariadna--USAriadna and RussAriadna sectorials.
Combined Army--No clue what we're getting here. Seriously, no clue.
ALEPH--OSS Sectorial. It's the Hindu/Vedic Sectorial, with Dasyus and things like that earmarked so far for it.
Tohaa--We don't know yet.
Mercenaries--Mercs are going to be getting an "official" army list. So far we know that it is going to be a pair of them, one of which is Beyhan Resources Limited...which means Kaplans.

Think we might someday see a Korean sectorial maybe?

A Korean Sectorial is pretty much off of the cards. By and large in Infinity, the various Asian countries that make up the Yu Jing faction are pretty well integrated to the point where you won't see a "special force" if that makes sense.

Japan seems to be the only stand-out difference, but the Yu Jing authorities seem to let the Japanese maintain their heritage/traditions and have a bit more independence as suppressing it would cause more problems than it would solve.

The other Haqq sectorial is the Khanate. The Kum and the Hunzakut are to go there.

We do know that there will be no Exrah sectorial, so that is sort of a clue. I think that an EI sectorial was mentioned somewhere.

Much better choice, IMO. The Black Hand draw from all the ships IIRC (organized by the Mexican General, using Corregidor guys as well as Tunguskan TO troops and resources). And completing the theme of ship-dedicated forces is more interesting than another Special Ops branch among the many Special Ops branches in a largely Special Ops game.

Given the "good guy mercs" image of Beyhan in the fluff, it would be really cool to see the other sectorial go the other direction: ruthless killers anchored by Druze, yuan-yuans and the like. Pirates, basically.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

The other Mercs faction, if I remember correctly, was called White Star. And, yeah, I think its supposed to be the more dirty, bloody side of things with Yuan-Yuan, Scarface and the like.

Ah, I totally forgot about Svarlheima . Yu Jing could definitely use some more. Though, from the sounds of it, PanO is going to wind up with 5 sectorials. They don't need so many. Isn't the Invincible Army the regular military for Yu Jing?

I can definitely see an EI sectorial for CA. Shame they won't be doing the Exrah though seeing as they already have troops for them. I guess I won't be getting my combat lawyers after all. Maybe they'll come up with a new fifth race for the CA.

Now, the Mercs stuff sounds like it could be pretty cool. I like the idea of having one sectorial being all the shiny, high tech good guy types and another being a bunch of dirty pirates. Plus, more Kaplans. I'm cool with that.

Was the chaksa sectorial something we heard from CB, or did we just assume that it would happen at some point?

I wouldn't be surprised, when all is said and done, PanO ends with the most sectorials. There's the potential Bastion (Earth) force, but this is partly speculation and wishing on my part. I'd gladly trade Military Orders for Bastion.

I do hope CA doesn't end up with infected humans, I prefer aliens to be aliens.

Very cool list there Kan. Most excited about the Beyhan of those I think.

Who knows, perhaps the storyline will advance to the point where the CA are knocking at the door of earth, and a defence force will be necessary?

Well, Yu-Jing and PanOceania are having at it on Earth too. Bastion is mentioned as PanO force that rivals Neo-Terra and Acontecimento armies, no small feat. I do not know, if you have Campaign Paradiso, but in there is an artwork with CA and holographic image of Earth. I think the real question is, will humanity be able to keep or defend Earth?

The Invincible Army IS probably the Yu-Jing Earth Army. Which faces the Earth Bastion Army from PanO... which I dearly hope means lots of ORCs. Including 32 point ones with combi rifles..

Well, and some more but we don't know exactly what yet.

It's safe to say that Nisses fill the same role that Bagh-Mari do in the ASA...so essentially we still have not seen the Svarlheima "Fusilier" equivalent.

Look at the Indigo spec ops mini to see the future of the fusilier. Not bad at all.

I know the rumor is 2 more sectorials each, but CB has changed plans when they decided that they were unworkable. The advance to the storyline apparently changed. I wonder if they will find all those new sectorials to be too much and cut back.

Gotta admit, I really am looking forward to a Caliphate sectorial moreso than a Khanate sectorial. The Caliphate gets the Khawarij.

If resculpts are a hint at all, I'd guess we're getting Caliphate/Al Medinat considering we got Tarik and not Izzat Beg. I'm the same - Khanate sounds interesting, but I want to see the Haqqislam super soldiers.

The change to the story advance is interesting - maybe the sudden surge in Infinitys popularity gave them a change of heart and made them want to draw it out longer? I know they had a 3 stage story planned for the game, but if the game causes your company to grow 75% a few years straight, you'd probably want to reconsider how you 'end' it.

The sudden April announcement news makes me wonder if they're scaling back some of their plans for "the next book" and are instead going to have more releases - for example it might just be only one sectoral force for each faction, instead of two, but we get it this year instead of next year. Don't know, really. But its a thought.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

I wouldn't mind that. I always thought 2 completely new sectorials per faction was a bit much to add at once now. It worked for Human Sphere because there were no sectorials, Aleph had just been introduced and no Tohaa, but now there's plenty, plus more for Aleph and Tohaa. So adding 2 more sectorials per faction at once now seems pretty ambitious, especially from a balance perspective.

I know the Caliphate was supposed to be the super soldiers, but what was the Khanate supposed to be?

Some things I hope we see in the near future from the new sectorials:
-Cold weather TAG for Yu Jing
-Cold weather troops for PanO
-new non-kilt wearing werewolves for Ariadna
-armored werewolves for Ariadna (Now there's something that'd scare the opposition)
-heavy infantry for Aleph
-riot cops for Nomads

Biker clans. Kum Bikers and other assorted bikers and unruly non mounted infantry. IIRC Bostria mentioned something about a super jumping bike at one point.

They already have those... Riot Girls. Of course, they're just as like to be the ones rioting as the ones quelling a riot... but the gear and abilities are definitely perfect for riot suppression.

Actually, the Moderators are "riot cops".

Riot Grrls have nothing to do with riot suppression or starting riots. It's just a reference to the punk movement.

I could do with different models for those. I like them in theory, and wouldn't mind running a link team, but I don't really care for the models. I got some Knight Sabers to proxy but they're waaaay too small.
