Then you're cutting game mechanics out of the starter set for the sake of simplicity--which is a bit sillier than doing a gradual build-up.

They already cut TO Camo out of the Quick-Start Rules. The Starter Set is for new player, people likely don't know the rules. It makes a lot of sense to not add units with rules that will not be covered is the rules they put into the box.

As for the HI conversation. If it's the cool new TO HI? Awesome. If it ends up being a Mobile Brigada resculpt? Awesome. Either way I'm good.

The only way we're NOT good is if they make those models exclusive to the starter set. Having a single 'special' model in the pack, (Whatever the grey model is), would grate on my gears less, but being exclusive with units that can/should be in everyone's PanO/Nomad army isn't kosher in my book.

Left to right speculation:
It looks like it is something with AD, as you can see a wing poking over its back. Fusilier x2 (or some kind of Fusilier equivalent), ORC, Fusilier or equivalent, Nisse.

As a PanO fan, I'd be happy if that was 100% spot on!

Good bit of thinking there Kan.. one in the middle is most confusing as it looks like some kind of shoulder-mounted weapon (or an owl?! )

Going on some of the other released 'exclusives' in box sets recently, if they do do it hopefully they will release them as separate blisters.

It's the ORC redesign. If you look at the current ORC it has some kind of 'shoulder mounted lights' that are built into the collar of the armor.

Actually the 'lights' are a part of the ORCs backpack. The one on the far left could be a new style jump pack. A new AD2 or AD3 troop profile? I doubt the Akalis will appear in Svalarheim.

For comparison, the ASA starter has 3 Regulars(LI), 1 Montesa (HI) 1 Bagh-Mari (MI) and one Akalis (AD). This looks like 3 fusiliers (LI), 1 ORC (HI), one Nisse (MI) and one AD3. Oh but it would suck to combat jump into a blizzard, eh? What will the unit be named?

This has to be the Svalarheim starter.

EDIT: to add a request. Please don't let the LI be actual fusiliers. Give Svalarheim their own LI. Leave the derpy fusiliers to NCA and MO.

Since the model appears to be male, I'm not calling them "Valkyries". Been calling them "Einherjar" instead.

Maybe it's just me, but the dude on the left in the PanO shot looks sort of like he might be wearing gear similar to Kirpal Singh's. Singh's armor didn't match up at all with the other Alkalis, so maybe he was wearing some Svalarheima AD Troop's gear?

I too am hoping that those aren't regular Fusiliers in that set. And if they are, they better be wearing helmets or Balaclava since this is supposed to be set in Svalarheima and arctic conditions are kind of cold.

They will probably have them at GenCon in limited numbers...but they most likely will not actually be available stateside for retailers until anywhere from September to November if it's at GenCon.

Well yeah, my wishlist contained motocross bikes. This would be still cool, but not as much. Maybe the biker girl that Angel Giraldez hinted on FB is only a character with a chopper, and then the normal bikers have motocross bikes. Wishlisting again...

Finally a new USAriadna model. I'd hope they sculpt FemShep on that bike.

Amen to that. I'm surprised we don't see more ME influenced Infinity armies... I'm sure they're there if I look hard enough.

More Game of Thrones references.

I think all bikes are sort of must-haves (Aleph is pricey, JSA are amazing), considering how much presence they give you on table and in Ariadna where it's easy to maximise combat groups. Flanking, specialists, very intriguing possibilities.

I do love the Chopper look, but NOT for the spec ops. I also seriously wanted to get more dirt-bike/atv looking stuff for Ariadna.

Maybe... MAYBE... the American flag is more symbolic of 'WE'LL BE AT GENCON', since that's in the USA. And maybe they are teasing a model that will be released at Gencon (much like Scarface and Cordelia). So perhaps... it is really the Ronin Samurai Biker? Whatshisname. You guys know it. I have faith in you. (Usagi Yojimbo... I remembered before I hit the Submit button. Hah!)

Otherwise, if that's the look of Ariadna's bikers, I have a feeling the rest of the sectorial will be a bunch of Harley riders shooting Freedom Guns and shouting MURICA as they rush into the fray. All models are Impetuous and have Burst 10 HMGs that rain down cheeseburgers and cheap beer.

At least I like the Choppers for the Kum guys, that sort of makes sense after all...
