Well she seems to have quite some freedom within Aleph, after all the artbook shows her gangfigting with Yu Jing bike gangs.

I would be all over a Penny Bootleg.

Like, I'd buy three so that I can safely screw up the first, do the second well, then come back and do the third in a year to keep it in line with my 'best' stuff as my painting skills improve.

Best thing about it is even if it is a Penny bootleg, or some kind of merc, it'll still fit right in with other Kum riders on the table, so I'll get it.

Since I already bought 'classic' Penny and Asuka (and have neither an ALEPH or Yu-Jing force) I guess I will try and pick up this new character when she becomes available and the Kum biker character just so they can all have a race

I like the speculation on the official boards, personally. Pennys sister was Hippolyta, who she accidentally killed while hunting.

This could be a mercenary 'double' of Penny going by the name Hippolyta. Would fit the previous Gencon releases being mercenaries, and last years being a completely new mercenary.

Out of curiosity, are the Gencon figures available for people who can't make the convention?

Seems to be the Agema Marksman for ALEPH/Steel Phalanx.

Well here's the Nikoul. We know it has Symbiont Armor, Viral Sniper Rifle, Minelayer, and Sapper....as if that wasn't enough it also has Multispectral Visor Level 1.

Awesome stuff, as usual.

Though I've been able to resit Tohaa so far...

It looks amazing, but it also having MSV1 thats just messed up.

As of right now? No, he does not...which is so stupid since he's a member of the Ambusher unit.

That's fine. I can live with Sapper, Minelayer, Symbiont Armour, MSVl1 and a Viral Sniper Rifle.

As you say, I was wondering since the name of the unit implies it would use the Ambush camo rule.

Remember the Bagh-Mari sniper has minelayer, mimetism, MSV1, and a multi-sniper rifle. (Yay MSR. /sarcasm) Plus the ever useful aquatic multi-terrain. What is the point cost of this one? The Bagh-Mari is 34 points, 1.5 SWC (thanks MSR )

But the Tohaa are proving to be a visually appealing force. This one is no exception.

Now, my Mutts?

Tohaa are a pretty fantastic range now, visually. It didn't help that the starter was fairly boring. The majority of the poses just didn't work. But every release since the starter has just gotten better and better.

The new Tohaa sniper looks nice. Maybe it's just me though, but I'd kind of rather have a standing version of him. He's got a great design that you mostly don't even get to see thanks to his pose and the foxhole.

Unfortunately (or is that furtunately?) there doesn't seem to be a whole lot in this assortment I'm all that interested in. I don't care about the 'Mutts, I don't have any Tohaa and the Nickaul is not going to be my first, and the Spetznas, while nice, is for a faction I'm not really building up at the moment.

Where'd that Agema Marksman come from though? That picture is the first I've heard about that.

Except a new Sapper without Ambush (the Nikaul) is entrenched, and a new Ambusher without Sapper is not.

Portable foxholes appear to be staying a Sapper feature.
