I'm a bit weak on the fluff. Is reverend healer the same or similar to reverend moira? It was sounding like corregedor too. But maybe tthat's the civilian character (doesn't look like it with that sword!)?
Regardless I can't get much more excited for this, already wearing out my seat edge.

They seem to be just new Dire Foe characters, not really tied to anything specific.

It's not just you. Although if he was standing, he might be stepping on the Gao Rael Sniper's toes.
I still haven't played a game, but I'm guessing the models are balanced around their model/base, right? So I can't use a Gao Rael Sniper as a Nikoul Ambush unit?
I agree with everyone saying that Tohaa look really nice. They are what finally got me to buy some models. They are intimidating to paint though.
Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

You can't use a proxy if there is an existing model.
Plus the Nikoul Ambush Unit is based that way because of his "Sapper" rule, which gives you a foxhole to hide in.

To be fair, you probably CAN use a proxy in just about every instance without much resistance...

Well yeah, I should have phrased that differently:
When playing in general pick-up games with your buddies, you likely won't have an issue with proxying provided you're not running a Gao-Rael Sniper as Nikoul Ambush Unit and a Gao-Rael Sniper as a Gao-Rael Sniper.
In ITS events though, if there is a model you are not allowed to proxy. You can have a conversion, provided everything matches up the way it should.
In the case of the Nikoul Ambush Unit though, you're better off just running the Nikoul Ambush Unit as the Ambush Unit since he's meant to be hunkered down like that. It's a common trend of Sapper models.
With this being sniper month, seems like the Agema this month will indeed have a Sniper Rifle. I was somewhat hoping for the Mk12 considering Atalanta is pretty much an Agema with sniper rifle anyways.
Awww yeah bitches! Another sniper for Ariadna.
I wonder if the Scout will be getting an updated profile in 3rd, or just this new model to replace the old one.
P.S. : Please God, let this new model not have the split off hip and leg that the old one does!
PPS: I just noticed that magazine placement also. Someone went with artistic license on this model. That sniper rifle lost about 8 inches of barrel length due to that very unorthodox mag placement. Guess it's too late for them to fix it :(

Occasional ramblings about painting and modelling.
Why have they moved the magazine forward? I can't unsee it now. It shold be closer to the trigger, and the left hand should be before the magazine. Like in the Spetsnaz rifle.

It will depend entirely upon the TO. But I doubt any of them will turn you away for using a proxy, even of an exisiting model. As long as it confuses nobody, it'll be fine. The only hard and fast taboo is non CB minis in ITS tournaments.
Nice scout, but yeah that magazine looks a bit oddly placed.
Reverend-Healer may be a new unit type or not ( currently there are reverend-moira and reverend-custodier.) But CB is adding new units already, so I would not be surprised if this is one too. If they base the mini on the reverend-custodier image, it will be awesome. Given that the custodiers are best-selling, I suspect that they might.
I would be surprised if it were a new unit linked to Bakunin, since they pretty much have said that the existing Sectorials are fully fleshed out for now.

And yet, they recently added the Bolts. We'll see soon enough (38 days or less )
So, my first thought on the Scout - 'Hey, they released another Lasiq'. Nice to see that pose get recycled through than another sniper leaning on his rifle or something.

Eh, this viewpoint is dependent upon having a TO that cares.

They added the Bolts in response to what happened in relation to Campaign: Paradiso.

What happened in Campaign: Paradiso?
Neoterra lacked a decent, linkable objective capable unit.
