Can I ask, is the Ghulam update for this month just rumoured or actual? I really, really need to buy some Haqq. Thanks.

Rumors so far have been very accurate, so I expect to see a Ghulam preview within the next few weeks. You'll be able to get them sometime in August. I will need to wait until September here in the US.

Haqq is the best faction. But I admittedly am quite biased.

It's not a rumor--Mayacast is given the release list by Corvus Belli.

There might be a few things wrong here or there, but that generally has to do with unexpected issues cropping up during the manufacturing process. Such a thing happened to Diomedes (he was reputed to come out almost five months before he finally did) where the casting process was having severe issues.

And if they're interested in releasing bootlegs or exclusive miniatures, it's because they know there's a market for them. Are you part of that market? Obviously not. But these miniatures sell, or they wouldn't make them.

So please, please, please get off your soap box for a few weeks. You don't have to get indignant over every release you don't agree with. Relax, have a beer, and paint some Infinity models. You'll feel better afterwards.

It's the same. Some people are again reaching for "Grenzer" because of twin pistols and now saying that the darker colors for the art means Black Hand--in spite of the Black Hand sectorial purportedly being shelved as its own thing and instead rolled into Tunguska like the Observance(read Reverend Moiras and Custodiers) was to Bakunin. There's also the whole Grenzers not having been listed as part of Black Hand that messes with that.

I knew it! I hope that with new art comes new mini, Im not saying curent Mobile B is bad, bud compare to rest of its kin, it looks bland.

I have no problem with that being the Grenzer. I just would prefer that his actual figure be dual wielding pistols rather than carrying the rifle.

The Mobile Brigada just looks like he'll be cool. I hope that they get a new blister release at the very least after Ice Storm comes out.

Also the black colour scheme doesn't mean Black Hand, because the Tunguska Interventors just released are in black, pretty much exactly like the 'Grenzer'

There's not really any Nomad "gunfighter" models, so I'd rather that stay an Ariadna thing.

Apparently we're looking at a two to three month delay before seeing any of those components for sale beyond someone splitting boxes.
Mobile Brigada better be getting a box. They're AVA 5 in Corregidor with 3 profiles.

I imagine they'll get a box of 4 then with the 5th being in the starter.

That would be kind of difficult since the MB only has 4 potential profiles--one is the Lieutenant, which has the same loadout as the 'basic' Mobile Brigada.

So just do 2 'basics' and the other 3 as the other options?

There's a box of riot grrls and a blister with one, and they only have 4 profiles too.

MULTI Rifle+Light Flamethrower, HMG, and Boarding Shotgun.

Boarding Shotgun and MULTI Rifle/LFT are basically interchangeable so the only real option would be to short you a HMG in the box.

Also I forgot that they bumped it to 6 with Paradiso.

Oh I see I thought you meant 4 and the lieutenant, not 4 with it. Okay yeah it is a bit more difficult then.

Box seting isnt a problem IMO, Im more concerned about MB geting some new rule to add some flavore since V: Courage isnt that much...

Wonder what you'll say for ORC trooper in that case.

Courage, flame thrower for few points of difference? Bargain.

There is some talk about profiles being updated to N3, we'll see.

But when you do get to use those dual Assault Pistols... SOMANYDICE. I love it.

If anything is going to be changed for MB, it will be with Infinity 3rd edition. They are a "vanilla book" unit.
I doubt we'll see a new profile as 4 is definitely doable, depending on how they work it. In an ideal world it would be 4 Mobile Brigada, two with Boarding Shotguns and two with Multi Rifles+Lt. Flamethrowers and HMG is a separate blister.
More likely it will be:
HMG x1
Boarding Shotgun x1
Multi Rifle+LtFT x1
One model that for whatever inexplicable reason is holding their pistol and pointing ala the Briscard boxed set.

As for the dual-pistol wielder, it's a cool pose and doesn't need to stay in Ariadna for any reason whatsoever. John Wu tributes will look interesting in most forces, and it's nice to be reminded that your unit actually -has- assault pistols since they get used pretty rarely when you're packing a combi too.

There's no guarantee that the following are true:
1) The model actually is packing twin Assault Pistols. Right now only Uxia McNeill has double Assault Pistols--and only on one of her profiles to boot. There are plenty of models with single Assault Pistols but only her "Covert Action" profile has doubles.
2) That it was an Assault Pistol to begin with.

As it stands though Ariadna is the only faction with the "WooFu" models (Uxia McNeill's Covert Action profile, one of the Scots Guard from the boxed set, Isobel McGregor, and the two Dog-Warrior models they have out). It would be nice to not have what could potentially be a brand new unit that likely will not have proper coverage in terms of models for a year or more just tossed into having a pair of pistols "because it looks cool".

Especially considering that Assault Pistols were really only introduced with Campaign: Paradiso and mostly were put in as a way to give Missile Launcher/HRL armed models some shorter ranged punch. The only real exception to that was the Briscards and their Marksman Rifles--who all got Assault Pistols, alongside the HRL profile...but for some reason the Sniper Rifle profile kept the standard pistol.

He shoots better and cost less, on the other hand I find Wip a very important stat. so..... yeah, Orc look sad.
