It's already up on Wayland at £60, and then delivery, and I'm not too bothered about the Bolt or Penny (not as keen on the bolt as I first thought and I can get Penny later)

But I've never used Wayland before.

I don't like Wayland as it takes them ages to deliver if they do at all, all my gaming group has had troubles with Wayland. We use:

http://elementgames.co.uk/

Have never once had a problem with them and there delivery times are fantastic. On more then one occasion I've placed an order on a Friday and have received it on Saturday the next day and I paind for standard delivery. Highly recommended IMO.

I use element games a lot, but they take a while to get their infinity pre orders up and I don't want to miss the limited model.

Very tempted by this starter set. I've been tempted by the pretty toys of infinity for a while now and this looks great.

For £60, I was about to just purchase it as an impulse buy, but then I noticed Wayland's free shipping doesn't apply. £76 just pushed it right over the top, especially since I just want the PanO contents (and som dice ofc).

Why £76? Shipping was £6.35 for me.

His flag shows Sweden, so I'm guessing that's international shipping versus within the UK shipping.

Man I wonder how big the lines at Gen con are gonna be for this, cause that starter set looks amazing! I'm tempted to pre order it in case I can't get one at Gen con.

False, I use Wayland and have never had a problem, whereas I've never used Element.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

Yup, selling my Sisters of Battle army to get this box set. I already collect Nomads so I'm a Go!
Gorgeous looking models and I really want that limited edition, pre-order only corporate lady with the Ghost in the Shell briefcase gun.
Need, not want.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

@Luthon, i'm hoping the lines aren't terrible and that i can get one on friday, don't want to take a second day off work. If i can't pick it up in person, i'll wait to see if miniature market gets it for pre-order, i can do without the bolt, penny, and security extra, but i don't want to miss out on the father knight and reverend healer like it'll be down the line? But i'm not sure those two are worth paying shipping from spain either. So gonna hop the booth first thing on friday.

Woohoo!

Think these things are very much self-perpetuating. An expanded section means more discussion, more people potentially playing the game!

Would rather buy from CB than Wayland, I want the other two minis so no option anyway - on another forum CB had said uk ice storm postage would be about 12 euro. Have to find out how true that is next week!

The scenery in the set looks awesome. Can't wait to pre order it!

I'm not sure what i'm gonna do with the scenery myself. While it looks pretty nice from what i've seen, I've got a boatload of mantic battlezones terrain that will probably serve as my ''bad part of town''/''frontier slums'' style infinity board part time.. not sure the paper terrain will fit in. But if it's readily collapsible, or nests... it could make a really nice set of travel terrain, just use the collection of low buildings they give you, and add in a bunch of scatter to break up los.

I wonder if the terrain will be available seperately? I plan to pick up an Icestorm all for myself since I have PanO and Nomads and plan to mix the new stuff in with them. But I don't need or want a 2nd Icestorm just to have a full table worth of terrain that all matches.

The BoW video shows something neat about the buildings- the containers are the exact size to match the train scenario from Paradiso, and the buildings themselves are sized so that you can stuff any of the cardboard infinity boxes inside for support, making them pretty sturdy. I had been planning on filling them with that expanding construction foam used to fill around pipes, but keeping my old boxes sounds a lot easier

Yes it will be. Bostria says so in the BoW video. He doesn't talk about prices or dates, tho.

For any Canadians, I see it's up at Meeplemart here for $109.95.
http://www.meeplemart.com/store/p/25055-Infinity-Operation-Icestorm.aspx
I believe Meeplemart shipping is flatrate $9.95 anywhere in Canada.

Anybody aware of any other good places to order it from in Canada?

It wont be long IMO, they have to go with hype-wave so maybe winter or late autumn.

Every Nomad kid want to be a Tomcat when they grow up.

Watching the video... box looks excellent. Sounds like the reverend healer will get to link with moiras and will have the doctor skill, neat. Too bad they don't let you link custodiers and moiras like that.. or the healer with custodiers. Or at least it wasn't mentioned. Sheesh at this rate I may as well get the moira box and make myself a space nun battle contingent.

With the finished icestorm product will be falling into people's hands very soon; When can we expect to get the N3 rules & roster updates online?

I'll get Icestorm & the N3 rule book no doubt, but I want to start playing the new rules already!

Is that a natural 21?

I missed that bit then, I only heard him talk about the figures being available separately in starters (except the reverend and the knight)

Well, apparently we have some news from the Interplanetary Tournament! No pics about new stuff BTW.

- 3D render for Yojimbo has been shown, and will have two versions, with and without bike.
- new box of Ghulams with special weapons
- Janissaire with HMG

I'll update if I see anything else.

I just pre-ordered it from Wayland (I've not had the problems others have...famous last words).

Watching the video again, I just realized that the Icestorm Boxed Set will be limited to only 5000 units. Not preorders, just the whole boxed set itself.

I was under the illusion that it was going to be an ongoing unlimited product.
