Devil Team is linked to and endorsed by CB. It also looks the prettiest.

Aleph Toolbox is much more streamlined and available on Mobile.

I prefer Aleph Toolbox personally, but they're both good.

Cool, thank you. I've been playing around with the Aleph toolbox, but I find it fiddly on a Galaxy 4, god knows how people on smaller phones use it.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

Mayanet is much, much prettier than Devil Teams offering, and is far more functional.

However, it's for iPads only (not even iPhones).

Army Infinity is no longer the Devil Team one, if you look at the URL it's hosted by CB and the developer now works for CB.

Also, as much as I love MayNet and always use it in preference to anything else, Army Infinity now gets updated within a few days of people reporting bugs and the same day that new profiles get released as PDFs...

But its flash and it takes frikin long to open, on the other hand aleph toolbox eats part of a list if I have more than 13 dudes(for some reason).

No disagreements from me there, I use MayaNet 99% of the time. Just pointing out that the idea that Army Infinity is an independent product with irregular updates is no longer true.

MayaNet is only for Ipods?

There are no other AB for Infinity?

There's Aleph Toolkit, which is web based so anything with a browser. There's an Android app, but I find it doesn't work well on my tablet while the website does.

There's the official Army Builder, I don't think it has an app though.

There's ALEPH Toolkit which has also been mentioned.

Save the swf file from your cache and just run it locally. This post here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/581964.page#6594615 explains how I did it. However the size of the file is larger now, but still in the ~23mb range.

Very helpful, thanks for that RH!

There's also Ops:Infinity for the iPhone/iPod touch, for the fruit legion.

Does Army run on Android tablets? I don't know what the state of Android Flash is these days...

Thanks for the heads up on Mayanet. I always lamented the lack of an AB for my Pad. (no big black framed glasses here mind you)

Thx for info.

I was wondering last night how Tunguska gona preform if their basic infantry up to day is Securitae....for so much pt I dont see them valid as a line trooper and on the other had they are AVA 4 for some reason....even vanilla Nomads have Aguaciles and Moderators AVA T.
So this made me thinkin what if line trooper for Tunguska is yet to come? It would be awesome....but I do want my dudes with repeaters like Securiatae are.....maybe Moderator profile with better WIP and repeater for...hmm 11?...... ehhhhh I can dream I guess.

I'm guessing the Securitate will be adjusted and recosted to better suit a line infantry role.

We'll see... Celestial guard for Yu jing are pretty damned good as line infantry

Expensive line infantry in a sectorial isn't the end of the world. For example, Neoterras Bolts and Hassassin Bahrams Muyibs, are in the 20-25pt range.

Bolts are medium and you can still field five fusiliers and unlimited amount of Auxilia. You can take five MI and pick the rest of the army around them, still, light infantry has a way to appear next to them. Bagh-Mari would be lost without Regulars with minelayers or cheap Spitfire caddy for flanking purposes.

Securitate will probably see some change and not having AVA: T in the general force shouldn't bother anyone. A large number of light infantry in PanO are capped at AVA: 2 or 3. In sectorial the number is changed.

Rather than securitate, I'm more interested in Grenzer. Link of those ? Oh yes, I'd like to run better Bagh-Mari link team with the best hackers and TO infiltrator. It'll be like playing better Shock Army.

Yes, but Celestial Guard are what, 13 points? And Securitate are in the 20s. So I think they'll be adjusted a little.

Securitate are sure to become cheaper. If anything, there'll likely be a NON-repeater loadout that shaves off a few points.

Line Infantry doesn't necessarily mean Light Infantry. Especially now that the Invinicble Army will have Heavy 'Line' Infantry. Line Infantry seems to have evolved into the 'iconic' ifnantry unit for a faction or sectorial, which tends to end up in their starter. Bolts are medium, but obviously intended to be the iconic line infantry for Neoterra. Muyibs aren't in the Bahram starter, but that starter has plenty of problems.

Even still, Muyibs are a good example of expensive Line Infantry if you want to enforce 'light' Line Infantry. Good armour, good weapons, wide array of upgrades and some specialists, and come in on average at 25pts per model. A link to anchor your Bahram list will weigh in at 150pts easily if you throw in an array of weapons and specialists.

Apart from flavour, did that distinction ever made any practical impact on the game or imposed any restriction? I might heard some grunting from Yu-Jing as to why there isn't cheaper thus more numerous HI option available to them. I do expect to see more MI in N3, as things are supposed to get cheaper but I don't think that's related to line/veteran/etc. distinction certain units have.

Once in one official scenario (the prison one) were the "wardens" must be LI.

This distinction is an untapped treasure vault that I am hoping to see it tapped in the future.

Just a word of caution here, though - this isn't updated as rigorously anymore, and in fact some points inaccuracies are starting to sneak into it. I'm not sure if this is true of the online web version, but it is definitely true of the android app and ESPECIALLY the old iOS app.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

There is only an android version at all now.

They abandoned iOS to let the Mayanet guys do their app.

If you've already got the iOS version, it's still on your device. But it's no longer updated.

Thing is, I still prefer the official one, flash and all but thanks to flash it doesn't work on the mobile device.

I guess it's a luxury compared with most (or all) other games in terms of what you get though.
