I'm curious does the map stop at a certain coordinate? the map online never loads more than a cube for myself but i think i may have gone beyond that today when i first played. Also im pretty sure i only took public farm melons...there was a sign 5 blocks from it... if not i apologise and will pay the person with some diamond when i get some

The server's quieter now that there's a Tekkit one, so it does get like that. =/

The map goes on past 3000, but visual one's capped at only displaying those blocks so as to save on memory. If you turn on signs you'll see a few people living out past it (though the majority live within it just so they can see what they're building).

If its public then you're free to take it. Melon groes fast anyway, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue if it wasn't thought. ^^

Anyhow, welcome to the server and such. Don't go building any giant phalices or anything (there's probably enough of those already).

Find a nice bit of landscape and build a giant castle or settlement. That seems to be the way of things around here.

Also note that if you're from Australia (I'm judging based on your Dakka flag, which is not always accurate), you may be playing at a time when many of the regular people are asleep. Have a look at the player list page to see when most people are online. Times shown there are GMT.

I play at very irregular australian times due to work and sleeping patterns, so its sort of odd to see noone online when i do hop on :S
