my wife brought me a vampire crab for our anniversary, its really cool, bright purple wit yellow/white shell!! Just thought id let you all know oh and my model ive painted this week is my guild pale rider for malifaux, ready for mondays battle!!

Looks good, don't really understand the IKRPG system yet (not got the book) but it looks likeyou're on the right track. Great game last night even if it was very short.

We've had an official complaint from the school about the state that the class room has been left in

Dear Alex,
It is with regret that I am having to email you, but it has been brought to my attention that the classroom which you are using is not being left clean and tidy. This Monday 17th September, for instance crisp packet, sandwich wrapper, trays and tables in wrong place, chewing gum stuck on underneath of tables, back table totally cleared and the items dumped on side.
Please can you speak to your group, because it can not continue.

First off the table thing, it's fair enough we were not sure where the tables were meant to go after the two mega games. In future if tables are moved please can people ensure the desks go back correctly.

Second litter, Now me and Nick did a litter patrol at the end of the session on Monday and I don't remember seeing any so I'm not sure sure if they the are compiling complaints from another day, however it is possible we missed something. Please remember to take your litter with you, if you see someone littering either speak to them yourselves or tell me. I do not want to lose the room over something a trivial as litter and will ban food on the premises if this continues.

Third Gum, I can't believe that one of our members has done this. Going forward there is a ban on Gum. If i catch anyone sticking gum to a desk they will be banned from the club on the spot.

As always please pass this on to anyone you know is not on Dakka, please let'snot jeopardise the future of the club because of laziness

The litter complaint does surprise me, I thought we'd found everything. The tables yeah I think we're in the wrong there. I think there was far too much rearranging of the tables and that whilst a small amount of moving is fine as much as went on this week is probably too much. The gum thing is pretty damn disgusting.

Heads up, 24 hour Warmachine/Hordes event down in Essex at the start of November.

just bought the iron kingdoms RPG book today from 'The Games Room', Duncan's only got 2 left though. First impressions are good. I'll bring it on Monday.

I think really it'll depend on whether it's hard back or soft back. If it's a hard back of the quality of say the Inifinity rule books then I won't feel too bad buying a new codex or 2 if it's still a soft back and full of the same rubbish as 5th ed codexes (namely Mat Ward written fluff) then meh.

I believe it is hard back and written by Phil Kelly... so more positive on both counts.
