Hanasaku Iroha is a fun little slice of life anime focusing on the staff of a traditional Japanese ryokan. If you're up for that kind of thing in between your usual diet of explosions and cleavage you could lose an assault rifle in, I highly recommend it.

Judging by the review by Arkada, I may have to watch Princess Tutu. From what he said, it gets really dark about halfway through, which is a bonus.

Hey! An explanation for the school ships! and the one Oorai academy is on in particular! There's two other subbed specials on that webpage, but they're mostly fan service.

Here Here : P Sorry I could only suggest good anime that you've already seen lol I could suggest watching OVA's or movies for the series that youve already seen that expand on the universe. I made it my goal to watch every Gundam Series, with the exception of SD, so that i can get the whole scope of the Universal Century. Some of the series are good and some are exceptionally bad.

For a short OVA grit fix with power armor, look up Straight Jacket, I do have to say I love a world where magic and field artillery should be mentioned in the same terms.
I challenge the laws of nature and reason by summoning the power of destruction. Veluta aim kifa kifa, samda makav. Magna Blast, EXIST!

Spoiler:
It seems to be a direct sequel to End of Evangelion as opposed to simply a re imagining, and Shinji is having to relive the events over and over again in some kind of cycle.
Wait till you you get to 3.0, I want to see what everyone thinks of it once it fully comes to the states and not gakky camrips...

I liked Psycho-Pass a lot. I was surprised when I learned the animator was the same guy from Hit Man Reborn! but it does really show in Akane's design. I was honestly kind of disappointed the series was only 22 episodes D:
Just watched the two most recent episodes of Girls Und Panzer on Crunchyroll, it was solid little series... And the final episodes fights were really entertaining, also I feel like less than a man simply because they caused a tank to drift like a sports car...

just finished watching persona- trinity souls
it was interesting, but i was somewhat let down that they didn't go the persona 3 route of bringing out the monsters, though i guess it would have been a bit rough to watch in cartoon format
Just watched the first two episodes of Devil Survivor 2 (I think it's game based, not an anime sequel) and it seems alright so far. Kind of a grim dark Pokemon/Digimon.

All it takes is a tank with a good power to weight ratio and the right driving surface (US Hellcats are great for it. 90kmph and great acceleration). And being willing to lose a track and some road wheels. I still say that that Tiger should have shucked a track driving over those dropped shurzen. Early ones were pretty heavy metal and Tigers had real issues with driving over that sort of thing, Though it was nice to see a tiger take that 7.5cm Kwak right in the sweet spot.

Fate is in heaven, armor is on the chest, accomplishment is in the feet. - Nagao Kagetora
Slice of life is great as an element to other things. For instance, summer wars was like half slice of life and it was great. The juxtaposition between the calm and the storm helped tell the story.
What I really don't like are shows that are ONLY slice of life, where it just doesn't GO anywhere, even on an episodic basis.
