Illyasveil is an interesting.... character. That might not be too bad, and I highly don't think it will be as slow to start as Fate/Stay night. I heard somewhere she is a magical girl or something weird in this series.

Precisely why I'm planning to stand clear of it. Also Fate/Sta Night was really boring, I admit that. Fate/Zero was really good though.

Watch GitS if you liked Appleseed.
Also, though I initially thought this anime season was going to be lackluster yet again (the 2011 year spoiled me in general; Steins; Gate, Madoka, etc), Stella C3 actually looks somewhat promising, despite the silly premise.

Just watched the first episode of;
Official Title - Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist
Alternative Titles - 魔界王子 devils and realist
Description - The story revolves around William, an aristocratic family’s progeny with rare intellect. One day, his uncle lost his possessions after his business failed. Fearing that his family’s name has been tarnished, William returns home and searches with his family’s butler for anything that can be converted into cash. A search of the premises yields an underground room left by an ancestor. In the room is a magical seal, and William unintentionally summons a devil. The summoned devil tells William his name Dantalion, and reveals that William is the designator who can choose the acting ruler of the demon world.
Seemed alright. Will see about keeping up with this one as well.

Speaking of Girls und Panzer, if they do a sequel series, but with a different choice of vehicle, what do you think they should do?
I've got it narrowed down to:
Girls und Mecha,
Girls und U-Boat,
GIrls und Warplane (German for warplane is silly),
or perhaps Girls und Battleship?

Kuwabara (assuming you're talking about the YYH one) is a legend.
Anyway, I've finished Gargantia and Season 1 Valvrave, so I'm catching up with Gundam Unicorn. Marida Cruz has the best hat.

An you have a ton of time to catch up on Unicorn, the last episode doesn't come out until next spring :/ Ive been waiting forever to see it, then I will have seen every gundam thing made ever

Another new one that looks interesting after seeing the first episode. It's not mentioned in the description, but the main character is quite silly or at least an airhead, but so far at least in a way that amuses, not annoys me.

Has anyone been following Yamato 2199? I've been enjoying it quite a bit. Great production quality, and basically (from what I hear) a 'not-gak' remake of the original Space Battleship Yamato.
The 70s-ness of it and classic high space opera has been pretty good through the 12 eps I've seen. The constant 'ITS THE SEA IN SPACE' stuff amuses me.

Anyone know where I can watch the Puella Magi Madoka Magica movies that have come out so far? I haven't seen them on any streaming site, and I don't know if they're on DVD/Blu-Ray or not.

I don't think the bluerays/dvds are out yet. Without those, subbers don't have anything to work with. If they were out, I think we would have seen them by now.

If you're in the UK, I've seen them in HMV in a few places. It got released on DVD over here a few months back.
