Well, granted this was a lul for the manga as well. Basically the contents of episode 5 dragged for like, a dozen chapters in the manga. It was kind of dull XD

I'd vote against bleach, the first seasons are great but after that it's just uninteresting power creep. The writer pretty bad.
Also, speaking of Fairy Tail. Any of you guys watched/read Rave? Cause I fething love Rave.
The story is completely different, but the themes and styles are virtually identical. Characters tend to win fights just through sheer 'I'm gonna winitude!" and with a whole lot of emphasis of 'Nakama.'
Rave didn't really run off either of those things. "Because they're my friends" is a pretty common trope in Anime and Manga (Bleach and Dragon Ball), but I'm talking about taking that a step further. One Piece and Fairy Tail stand out as series that tackle the defining of Friendship and Family very directly as a central theme of their story lines (One Piece has practically elevated it into a philosophical underpinning), and they mirror one another rather radically on that front.
Doesn't mean a clone, and fairytail definitely had plenty of that. The love they have or each other is akin to family. Honestly is seems to be a Japanese thin more than anything else.

That's a binge all right.
I usually watch anime for about two hours in the afternoon/evening, ecept wdnesdays when i go for a jog. and thursdays when i go to my dad's and sundays when i go to my dad's, and saturdays when i go to.. you guessed it, my dad's but last night was monday, so i had four hours.
