LOL! I am liking that re-sculpt of the left leg armor! It always annoyed me that GW which promotes itself as the creme-de-la-creme of miniatures can talk so big and screw up so much! Likeing the whole mini now that I see it assembled

Usually they get the chainsword - you're right, though, those termie suits don't come cheap.

of course the chainsword... way cheaper to chop than to place a bolt in the head^^

@ Bear and Vodka issue

We really have some bears on the steets tbh, usually at the warm time of the year, but they are mostly cubs and so scared of the crowd they gak constantly... poor creatures...

Vodka on the other hand is a real problem... According to some cultural-social-historical researches the were no cultural version of strong alcohol beverage till Mendeleev developed his "formula" which allowed for fast and massive production of very strong and theoretically less toxic alcohol... Reality proved otherwise though =/ For a nation without cultural standards of drinking and no genetic resistance a glut of cheap alcohol led to a disaster =( You probably never heard but some measurements indicate that an average age to begin drinking around the country is 13 IMO Vodka is actually a drug more than beverage and I prefer any kind of "true" strong alcohol like Whiskey, Cognac or Tequila any time for they HAVE a taste and smell and thus some sense to consume, while Vodka is just pure alcohol meant for drinking yourself to delirium...

well actually i had to write a small paper the other month on family politics of russia... long story short... for the younger men dying ad life expectancy is greatly endangered because of vodka and all associated problems... like heart failure or even car accidents... or really any accidents... it is quite remarkably how many peeps die because the are so drunk they just fall out of windows or bridges...and that is not meant in any funny way... russia sure has a big load on it´s shoulders...

I cant stand the stuff to be honest and with you totally on this Storag, there is no reason to drink something with no taste or flavour

There are some very good Vodkas out there. Ones, such as Crystal Head, which aim to give Vodka a 'taste' and style (without adding external flavor, like vanilla or strawberry). But they are rare, and should be cherished.

That's no echo, I'm alive and keep working my way towards the synapse squad, but polishing sculpts, preparing them for the casting process is a rather time consuming and barely visible process, so there not much to show. I had a small supply drop few days ago - the shotgun and pulse rifle casts. I did some strange designs for more weaponry but no camera to make pics... :( but will do them asap... That's kinda all for now...

Hallo there folks!

I feel like I have to stop by and explain my prolonged absence... In short - lots of thinkg are going on in RL =\ Among most important, I got a nasty eye infection that made any precise work impossible and which has not completely cured yet Second, I've got a new apartment in a freshly built house and working on it's interiors consumes most of my resourses. This apartment is pretty small so I've decided to play a carpenter and make most of the furniture myself to make most use of the space. We'll see how this turns out...

I'll try to pull up a post of things that lie undone on my table but I believe I won't' have much time for hobby in a coming month

Dam hope the eye heals ok mate and the new flat works out well be careful with those sharp tools

Nothing major - lots of things need tweaking here and there so I'm just giving my hands some practice after a time off. Been sculpting small triangular ornament on a base for Aztec marine. Takes lots of time and makes a nice warm up =)

Aztec marine is coming back That is good news I so wanted to see that guy finished, I have seen some Feral Ork conversions and could see these fitting really well together in a duel

Is the base complete scratch or some parts ready available hope to see the Tau tech come back soon they were so bad ass
