OH-I Wanna get out of here

Is there a stand alone Grav Cannon kit I missed, or did you bits order?

Probably a bits order, though a Grav Cannons kit would sell like hotcakes I'd imagine.

Kromlech makes a stand alone Cannon and Arm set. Got tired of waiting on Bit suppliers to come into product. I;ll paint up both the GW one and the Kromlech one for a comparison when I get my order.

Dreado almost finished. Some touch ups.I'll need to straighten then body position as well.

Comparison pic.

Siege body to date…

While waiting for things to dry.. started on the Grav Bombard and storm cannon. Here’s how it looks so far…

Now to get myself a Dread Drop Pod so I can drop this monster in .

That siege dread is just horrifying....

I thinking model? not painting?

For over 300 pts I suspect it better be. Armed with 2 Cyclone Melta lances it is a beast. Six S9 Ap1 Meltas per turn

Yeah... I'm kind of expecting "dreadnoughts from hell" the next time you and I meet on the field of battle.

We'll see . I'm quietly waiting for the new BA codex to come out. See what's new. I might be able to play my Lamenters with the right Codex for once.

Thanks Warboss.. 'm not sure how smooth the white is. It seems it's my hardest color to paint.

Not where I should be

That dread looks amazing, nice work, painting is great. Model is just scary as heck. It's not the horror, just the size and fire power.
Put that along side a couple lascannon dreads and you are pure fire wall. Though I don't play any more so no real idea, just in my head it looks like a serious killer.

The Leviathan looks so sexy, is it available in 40k?

Yeah... a single Leviathan . Requires the larger Dread pod or one of the FW Clawed Drop pods.

I've a second one that I'll be doing in My Alpha Legion colors over the winter. it is not cheap in points, but i bet it's a fun unit to play once in a while.

I'll try and finish up the 2 Lamenters Contemptors ( 1 Normal and 1 Relic ) This week then I will be working on the 2 units of centurions followed by Grav devastators ( some HB thrown in for flexibility) .

Great work, loving the colours and how vibrant they are. These Dreads are going to look so striking on the table.

Thanks.. I'll look at getting you one if you like.
Still have trouble with white. No matter How thin i make it and how many layers I use, I still think it looks uneven. Contemplating in how to do the top plate, Yellow? White with checks or leave it black for contrast.

Thanks IF.. ^hey should be fun to play thought they are a lot of points. Max'd out the siege Dread will probably be over 350 pts alone.

Got a lot of stuff to do and I'm getting more.. Grav weaponry with some Dread bases on there way .. SM Terrain from ' Death Ray Designs' . A whole slew of HH inf, 3 Jetbikes and a couple of Speeders for the World Eaters
Lots on the list before Adepticon..

Finished a bit more on the weapons

A lot more weapons to finish on this guy including the body guns. Waiting on the Melta lances for sure.

Finished the body guns for the Dreado and straightened up the torso tilt. Waiting on the new bases.

Wow, that guy is armed to the teeth! Loving the look on the Grav Flux cannon. Blue is a nice counter colour to the yellow you've already done. Nice stuff!

Thanks sir.. Yeah the metallic blue is getting used more ofen now. I'll need to get some more as I get ready to do the Alpha Legion Dreads.

The Seige dread really is a nice sculpt. It has a nice massive feel that is missing from the Dreads in general. As for armed .. I have 2 of each weapon between the two dreads

Busy Weekend. Got the Dreads done. Both the Normal and Relic Contemptors

My Wifes contribution… of the 4 Dreads

The Actual 4 Dreads

Finished all 4 Knights.. I was just waiting to finish all the armor plates, so really just a quick couple of hours…In pairs…

All 4 together.. some what less detailed at this distance but I think the effect is good; Plus I can check these off the to do list.

Waiting on some basees...

Next I started on updating my blast markers. Didn’t really have a plan and just went for it. I made sure it represented my Lamenters as most of the time it’s my vehicles blowing up.

On to Centurions and Devastators…oh and finish the other blast markers

Not kidding you had a busy weekend. Dreads look great. The white on the Knights look great as well. Nice work!

Dedicated blast markers are a nice touch. Never would have thought of that.

Thanks WBD,,

I;d like to get some old crappy vehicles off say.. ebay and make some wrecks to put in place for the actual thing. Something that would actually provide cover and LOS blocking. I have a Rhino I did way back for Adepticon display.

Those look absolutely fantastic SL! All of it! I just can't say enough about this recent spate of work. Very excited to having the chance one day to tangle with some of your beautiful models on the tabletop.
