Not a surprise, Anvil's quality is always great, but good to see it maintained on a big project like the KS.

Quality is most important, then getting it done on time comes a close second.

This is why we are more than 6 months behind schedule... but getting there!

@Barzam and MOTN - thanks for posting photos! nice to see the models out in the wild!

It looks more like a 3D render than an actual model. Nice to see that your awesome quality control scales up to the bigger models as well!

Yeah, I'm definitely regretting not having enough funds to stretch to one of those war engines - looks amazing. Definitely saving for one of those when it hits retail.

I've been going through what i did get from the kickstarter though, and (as always) the casts are flawless, and everything is just gorgeous.
I haven't had time to assemble any of the troops yet, but I just had to put the Saint & Martyr together:

It's beautifully balanced too - looking at how tall, and how relatively top heavy the design is, I thought i would have to put it on a big base to stop it from toppling over, but no, it stays up perfectly on its own. great stuff.

So if I haven't received my kickstarter rewards I shouldn't be too worried yet, is that right?

Sharing the worry, but as I understand some bits are just taking longer (the mechanical jet pack wings and gladiator bits IIRC).

I'm really hoping they get it sorted out soon though.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

That's consistent at least, because I had mechanical jet pack wings in my kit,

Excellent models, as always from Anvil Industry. Nice mech, and a mite bit more practical than a certain counterpart.

I think being turned into a warmachine to serve until destroyed is penitence enough.

Good news.

According to the Long Haired Admiral, my Kickstarter has arrived.

Bad news.

I'm not getting home until the end of July.

Aaaargh!

Finally got my stuff today - absolutely beautiful, just as I expected from Anvil.

I really like that the resin sprues are shaped like rubble, so after I trim the minis I have free basing material as well. It's a nice design both for making good bases and reducing waste.

Some new stuff on the website for those who don't already know, looks like a new wave of PMC/Modern Regiments gear
Spoiler:

Male Bullpup weapons+ G36C (Male)

Alpine Gear

SAW LMGs

DSR Male and Female

Scatter terrain

Dragunov Male and Female

Yeah, trying to convince myself my burgeoning army does not require a platoon of ski troops...
But you gotta admit it would be awesome...

Also between the M249 SAWs and the Dragunovs I can see your PMC forces becoming much more tactical. A nice touch.

Here is the gorgeous new artwork Chris did for our Boilersuit Renegades.

The first wave is now available for pre-order, shipping in a couple of weeks time, check out all the new stuff here:

https://anvilindustry.co.uk/Regiments/boilersuit-renegades

We are planning 2/3 futher waves of releases including female models, more characters and more weapon options.

We are almost done with our Kickstarter fulfilment and studio move, at which point I hope we can start engaging with the community more and releasing new stuff a lot faster.

Good stuff, Anvil. Glad to hear everything is going well for now!

Quick question. Going forward, will all your exo-lord releases by Prime sized or will there still be non-Prime bits being released?

Any chance of seeing the afterlife minis restocked ? Really want to expand on them but they have been out of stock for so long now, real shame as I backed quite a bit of money in it and it kind of has been left dead in the water.

Absolutely.

I know it has been a long time, but we do talk about it in the office! The game development is on hiatus, but definately not cancelled, and the model range will return in the future!

We have another 3-6 months of work ahead of us preparing our new studio and catching up with a backlog of releases, but Afterlife 2ed edition is in slow development
