Woah... The PARTS will be available again really soon, we are remaking the moulds over the next few days for the medieval torso and Static Legs, its just the current "complete squad" deal which is being reviewed. Those medieval leg parts were a lot of work! I wont be getting rid of those any time soon.
The MOTN figures are a lot skinnier and have "normal human" proportions in their heads, arms, hands and feed etc, The A.R.C Drone are approx the same height but a bit more heroically proportioned, which means much larger feet/hands, wider and bulkier shoulders.
I will try and get some comparison photos up soon.

Hey,
Thanks very much! Yes indeed, we have a brand new Anvil Studio right opposite our current unit, We need to take on packing/manufacturing/misc staff over the next couple of months so we needed more room!
An expanded manufacturing capability will remain where we are now, while the new unit will give us larger model making and painting areas, a proper office space and packing area and most importantly - room for several permanent gaming tables!
For anyone able to get to East London, I'm hoping to be able to put on some evening/weekend gaming events in a few months time when we are all sorted in the new space.

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal. |

Ah, okay. That was my misunderstanding then. Glad the parts aren't going away. Those parts have been quite useful to me. Did you say that you would be redesigning some of the heads down the road?

@Big H - Our North Watford office is next in our expansion plan!
@Sgt. Roadkill - We are based in trinity Buoy Wharf, Which is between Canning Town and East India Tube/DLR Stations.
@Barzam - Yes some heads are in line for a resculpt, but absolutely not a priority for the foreseeable future, I want to make lots of other more exciting things, Tanks for example.
@Viktor - Not entirely sure yet, but some kind of heavy weapons units, some robot/human hybrids, command elements.
The A.R.C is a planned faction in my wargame, so Ill be adding to the range over time untill a whole army can be fielded.
Cheers,
Joel

Yeah, it's a real bummer about the medieval parts going away, I always wanted to get some for Heresy-era armor, or even as Thunder Warriors!

@Livanbard - Im undecided - Basically we are VAT registered now, and I've not changed prices at all.
With most of the range this isnt a problem (so no need to panic buy guys!) but on the already discounted Exo-Lord kits it means we are not making enough money on them.
Its most likely the product will not return, but I will be designing new ranges of Exo-lords, similar to the Black Ops (fewer components) to replace them, which will include a medieval styled one.
Well, at last i grabbed a set.

@Mr P and Barzam - No information at this stage Im afraid! the project is a while away yet!
As soon as we can get the new studio sorted out, Im going to be switching back to full time product design/development, but even then I have a lifetimes worth of possible projects I want to work on, so no point my getting excited about models which may not be worked on till next year!

Here is an example of a Black ops thats been character converted.
Please forgive the sloppy quick shade job.
Anvil said he was makeing a command team so that should have several poses suitable for any characters we want and need.

@medium of death
the "Vanguard" torso already has an armored gorget, its just not available right now, but will be again soon!
@LDD - The bare arms are almost ready, just need to mould them, and the fatigue arms will follow on shortly after that.
Black Ops character figures - Yep as Newabortion says, I will be creating a command squad with a few useful figures and option parts for this, you can also stick special/weapon arms from other manufacturers easily on at least one more more figures in each unit.
Black Ops character looks great by the way! I have some more painted photos people have sent me to put up soon.
I wish I had more stuff to show off of my own! Im really looking forward to getting back to new products!
Thanks for your patience guys!

Thanks LDD, I cant belive you havent bought any! Only thing I personally dont like about the models is the bodys and arms are one peice cast so its really difficult to mod them, one slip with the dremel and your buying a new model, paying for shipping, and waiting atleast a week for the replacement to arrive. If you dont customise your troops though they are fantastic. It might be Im spoiled by poseing IG figures too much.
Joel, could you post a picture of a black ops figure holding the SAW?
For example this guy

@Newabortion The reason I have not bought any is I am very anti steroid induced space corps I have always been an underdog fan so super troopers have always been a no no.
However Joel's take on this idea has a slightly more realistic theme and the styling is more interesting to my taste, believe me if I had the funds available I would own some but I have to be careful with my buying at the moment.

Thats why I bought them, I'm very hard core in love with IG, but Joel put all the work into the models that I can buy that I was putting into converting my guard troops in my blog. When the realistic guard troops are made my Anvil then I'll switch back to guard, until then I'll be working on super human allies.

I totally agree I am thinking of uses these as Storm trooper stand in (I don't play so no issues ) I like the fact they are loaded out in equipment rather than a side pack and weapon only.
Once my mortgage is sorted I will be investing in a small squad for sure

@Newabortion - No problem, its attached below this.
If you want any spare bodies for dremelling away arms, I have a bunch of parts with air bubbles which could be easily repaired, remind me in the comments box and Ill send some out with your next order.
Otherwise, the Suppression teams are supplied with leg/torso bits with no arms attached as you've seen - easier for conversions!
The command team will hopefully not be too far away! Similarly the black Ops style human infantry are most definately on the "to do" list as soon as I can get round to them!
Cheers,
Joel
