I also like "bionic" direction that Tech-warlord is going - Wouldn't mind an Assassin type "Crysis" model... Ah well, fingers crossed, there IS 23 days left!!

Ah ok, thanks Joel So a little larger than human sized. Would be a very imposing enemy to come across in a corridor. You could consider melee weaponry on the robots in a breaching capacity, like some sort of pneumatic fist for collapsing doors or some such.

I really want to back this, but I've just started uni and am still in the process of getting my finances stable. Hmmm, will have to have some serious budgeting considerations...

Looking forward to seeing those add-on prices today. I can't get over how awesome the Crane drones are, I would definitely like to pledge for two!

The Crane drones are only 4.5 pounds apiece, not bad! He also said there will be 4 body poses:

Anvil Industry wrote:One of the stretch goals (if we reach it, fingers crossed) is for more arms with alternative weapons, and those will be included in all Drone sets.
I will also be making 4 different body poses for the drones, so if you want more than just a pair you will get some variety.

@Jehan - Glad you like them. no plans to add combat weapons - Swords are cool, and there will be a few here and there, but Im trying to keep most units realistic to the near-future sci-fi concept.

Here is a colour scheme Dwartist came up with for the Ajax, which I like a lot - http://dwartist.blogspot.co.uk/2014_02_01_archive.html

He has painted up quite a few of our figures to a very high standard!

Hm ok, maybe some of the chainsaw accessories will fit, in Urban war you need those chain attachments and/or shotguns to get through those pesky (sliding) doors.

I know Dwartist stuff, great painting, but i was more hoping on a official faction paint scheme sheet .

Morning everyone,

@Treadheads - the Mechanic will have a full exoskeleton around his legs and back, plus some mechanical arms in addition to his "biological" ones.

@Haigus - Ok thanks I will have a think about incorporating breaching gear.

@RiTides - Yep they are up, glad you like them

@Jehan - actually yes, the "chainsaw bayonet" from our exolords range would be an excellent fit..

There is no "official" colours guide at the moment because a. Ive not had a chance to paint up any figures and b. there are a lot of warzones and thus different wargear patterns, so lots of variety.

I would say as guidance that realistic schemes with muted colours are likely to work best with the miniatures and themes.

@Dwartist - amazing! I also in particular LOVE the visors, brilliant!

@Malika - if we are lucky Dwartist might have time to post up a quick guide??

I will be posting some updates later today, I have nearly finished Idaho Yoshida!

Yep we are very pleased with how its going so far! I will be filing in the various figures where renders are missing, over the next few days.

Here is Idaho Yoshida!

Bit of a future Samurai vibe going on with this guy, he leads one of the three main SHARD strikes!

As usual, those Tracers make me wish I'd been able to back at Vanguard last time around.

Idaho looks absolutely awesome, though. It's amazing how different that design looks with just a few segmented plates added. Is this how we should expect the Commando Assault Specialists to look?

And once again, the Vector is such a cool looking gun. I love that you chose it for them.

Thanks for posting that up Malika!

@Barzam - Thanks glad you like him.

No, the segmented armour for now will only be on Idaho and Madison.
The assault specialists will have slightly different armour, but mainly just alternative equipment - breeching charges, shotguns, mines, rappelling gear.

War drones now come in "A" and "B" packs... although I'm asking about whether it's possible to get a larger set of them offered (like 10 or 12) since they're so popular!

Anvil Industry wrote:WAR DRONES - Very good suggestion Damon, thanks!
There will now be a "pack A" which is in the main pledge. Anyone pledging for another set will get "pack B". Pledge for more than 4 and we will include equal numbers of each set where possible.

Man those are some awesome Tracers, any way you could share you recipe, I'd love to replicate the scheme for my Imperial Guard army (which is going to need a ton of tracer mechs, that is when Joel gets around to releasing them )
As for the sergeants in that army I think I might just have to convert some of those Pulse mechs, by adding a chain bayonet or the head of a chain glaive to their right forearm, yeah I know I'll have to wait till February or March to get them, but I can wait.
Well now I just need to increase my pledge level to get the rest of my sergeants ordered

Awesome - looking forward to that - a short summary of the method would be good as well so I can try and replicate it myself some time!

Any plans on doing some sort of starter kit type thing after the KS is over?

@Dwartist- amazing work as always! I look forward to some guidance on how to paint the figures like that - I will probably make a pigs ear of it but Im going to try!

@LDD - good to have you on board

@Snrub - Yes of course, we are making a game set with dice and counters/templates/objectives for the KS release and will print extras, so various "shards" starter packs will be available after the KS rewards ship.
