@Azazelx - Cheers - I pretty much agree, I constantly strive to improve both the design and production quality of our output. As Haigus kindly answered for me - all the stuff we are previewing at the moment is for fulfilment of last years KS project, and will be available in the retail store in stages over the coming year, though at this stage I cant give much more information than that! While I am busy with KS stuff, Our head of manufacturing Adam (with some help from Chaz) made some awesome new "Hyper-City Industrial" base toppers, which are available for pre order now - shipping in a couple of weeks.

They are available in 25mm, 30mm and 40mm sizes, and can also be mixed and matched up to decorate larger base sizes.

Ooh, those are nice! I'm not especially interested in Afterlife as a game, but those base toppers look like they'll be a unique addition to my models.

Is the "Collect From Salute" option live on the website yet? I need to figure out how many 40mm toppers my Leviathan base will need...

Regarding the War Drones, we have the Pose A pack. If you pledged for 6 and nothing else, we can ship 3x Pose A tommorow, but you will probably want to wait for Pose B pack, which will have two new leg/body poses, and a commander upgrade head and arm. Those will take a little longer, but will ship ahead of a lot of the main reward waves.

Nope its not live yet, we will sort that out asap! Not long till the show now!

We will not be taking all our "bits" products this year, but will have plenty of the new Bases so you can check them out "in the flesh".

@RiTides- The Extra Drones are first on the Add-Ons list, as soon as all the stuff from Shard Recon and Strike are completed. I may actually do them before all of Shard Strike is completed, given how popular they proved!


New miniatures - Republic Commando Snipers with Rail Rifles.

This is the pair included in most pledges, there will be another 3 poses + a spotter drone to round out the squad for those who purchased the Add-On (or for retail eventually).

Will you be doing any 'pre-order for collection at Salute' deals on those bases (or anything else for that matter)?

Will you make splattered rail rifle victims? (or you could make it as part some sprues like you do now with debris )

While the robots for the Unity Council are pretty damn cool, I still think the Republic figures are the clear standouts in this assortment. The Commandos look amazing.

The current prices for the new bases will remain in place until at least the show. (though we don't plan to raise them all that much, depends on sales)

We may do some "combi-deals" for the AFTERLIFE game blisters, but we have not decided anything for definite yet, We will announce any deals a few weeks before the show.


@Jehan Reznor- A bit Macabre, but yes actually I had thought of that, its on the "fit in when I have some spare design time" list. I wouldnt put them on sprues, but would do a "battlefield casualties" set with half a dozen figures in various states of disintegration.

@Barzam - thanks very much! I am really looking forward to getting the Pulse Mechs and Commandos printed and cast!

Good well-sculpted dead people would be a great scenery bit - I'd definitely buy some for the afterlife terrain I plan to make.

The Picatinny rail on the Unity Guard shotguns, do those match the rails found on your other designs and therefore can your range of scopes and other accessories in the Armoury be used on them?

My apad won't connect to the internet who do I contact for tech support ?

You contact the Apad Help On Line Employee (AHOLE) for short. They don't speak you native language, mispronounce their name, and will be extremely polite while still conveying that they could care less about your first world problem.

Been on hold for hours and just got cut off ???? next thing you know my home gets taken out by a drone suddenly I get a call back from them saying have you got proof purchase I said no my house has been destroyed by a drone attack, they reply without proof of purchase we cant help and hang up

Different options I guess, but it does seem odd. It actually makes me much more likely to pre-order, coupled with the fact that they won't have the bits stuff otherwise. I hate having to pay for my order in advance, I'd much rather be able to pay on the day - otherwise, why bother pre-ordering to collect, especially if it's regular stock items and the postage is reasonable anyway? It's not like they're offering a pre-order discount like other vendors, who I will be having to preorder from to benefit.

The guys at Anvil are working their arses off trying to get the kickstarter models cast and packed for the backers who paid for their gear back n October. You know how small a team they are so get some perspective and quit complaining, it's not like you can't get what you want one way or another.

If you pay before the day and anvil can't make it due to transport of health issues or stuff gets lost/stolen pn the day etc then they will have to find a way to get it to you anyway

so either losing out on postage or having to chase you for it or do a refund

paying on the day means if anything goes wrong and there are no bits for you you just don't pay, far easier
