I think a headlamp will be a nice touch to the design. It'll help give it a more industrial look. If these space suit bits wind up being popular, do you think you might do more styles in the future, or possibly full sets? Some more advanced looking armored space suits would be pretty awesome. I'd love to see some like the suits worn by the Imperial Marines in Legend of Galactic Heroes. How could you not want a squad of these? I would love to see something like that in the future.

Evening all,
Head over to facebook for a second render of the new Hazard Armour, complete with what I think I'll call "The Lightning Gun"
Hope to have them in resin by middle of next week.
@Barzam - Anything is possible, but its unlikely, simply because Ive at least half a dozen more releases like this to get through first, not including Exo-Lords and Afterlife development!
@Manus - I am planning to bring back the ARC cyborg troopers as part of the regiments range. - Parts to make fully robotic soldiers and also useable as bonic conversion bits for human regiments infantry. Not sure when I will get to these parts however.
@JohnnyHell - Well, obviously I cant (And wouldnt want to) make anything which is a copy of GW artwork. I am planning a helmet next week which is broadly similar to that one, and great coat legs in the future, so making something with a similar look to the artwork will be possible.
The whole intent behind Regiments is to expand the range to the point where there are over ten thousand unique combinations, so almost any look/style is possible.

Quite liked the plain helmet myself, but other than that, looking really, really good!
Also, good to hear that the cyborgs are making a return, I've been awaiting them for some time now, my Mechanicum need cheap and expendable fodder.

I think I agree with BrookM. The grille on the helmet feels a bit off, especially for a hazardous environment/space helmet. Otherwise, I like it a lot. The new gun looks reall neat, too. Is the cable hooked up to something?

Plain helmet is much nicer. Not a huge fan of the grille on a hazmat helmet, but it wouldn't stop me buying them!
Now I just have to summon the will to wait for greatcoat legs...

I much preferred the previous render personally, it isn't the grill so much in my case, but the vision slit was better looking than the goggles-shaped visor IMO (the slit is also more medieval as you are going for the gothic look). The lighting gun looks great from what I can see in the FB image though.

I hate to pile on, but I also enjoy the first helmet more as well. I do like the grilled version, but would prefer the two styles being seperate from one another in their own sets/sprues. I much prefer uniformity instead of a single set that contains two styles.

I generally enjoy stylized knight helmets but I but the goggles honestly kill it for me, they just seem fort of out of place.
I also had a idea, the power halberds might be abit too niche but there's the upcoming forgeworld upgrade kit for skitarii that features a spear and shield combo.
What if you made a specialist "halberd and shield" weapon set to cash in on the forgeworld ones being not only expensive and yours cheaper, but more than likely yours would be out before theirs, and you have a whole range thats geared to work with it. Currently no one really offers really good IG compatible power lances, not even GW AND ITS IN THEIR FREAKIN CODEX, and the ONLY knightly or gothic themed boarding shields I've found that could work with worknwell with skitarii or IG designed for dystopian legions, but the company scrapped the models and went for a vehicle instead.
Just some ideas, loving what your doing. Keep up the awesome work.

I just realise there is one special weapon option 'missing' - how about a grenade launcher?
Edit: oh and I also prefer the first helmet option, which feels like a good option for an enclosed carapace armour helmet as well as the intended purpose

Thanks a lot for all the honest feedback guys! It really is VERY useful.
@Barzam - the gun is hooked to itself (to the power supply at the back) much like a 40K melta but my way makes a bit more sense I think..
@Joe Rugby - no current plans but it may happen at some point, relatively easy to scale heads up and re print.
The Helmet - The Mob Has Spoken!
I realised, on reflection, and most people liking version 1 more, that I've been over thinking the design of this helmet, if anything adding too much detail.
For version three, which I really like and hope you will to, ive gone for a much more utilitarian look, less "knight" and more "void hardsuit", it also matches cleanly with the torso more now I think.
Attached to this post are versions 1 and 2 for comparison, and at the bottom version three with renders of the helmet with visor up and down, and with no helmet (sprue will have a mixture for variety)
You can Click the version three render for a much bigger full res image.
I have also included bottom left - a version with a couple of horizontal slits on the rebreather, I think they work quite well, but leaving it plain might be better.
Your thoughts feedback and suggestions are very welcome in the next 15 hours or so before I have to lock the design down and get it to the printer, for a release later this week I hope!
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Yes, v.3 looks best. I still like having the lamp though. Maybe have it as an attachment option or just do one or two heads with it? Overall, the new design is the best version so far. I'm undecided on the slits on the mask though. The horizontal slits look a lot better and do look good on the rebreather, but it also looks good without them. Maybe just slip one or two of the slit version into the sprue.

I'm going to echo pretty much everything Barzam has written here.
V3 really does look awesome, but I agree it would be nice to have the lamp back. Either way, I will happily buy V3.

I'm not sure if its just the angle in #1, but it looks like it has a grill / indent at the mouth level, a bit like a star wars stormtrooper's helmet, which I love the look of, so I would still vote for that one (assuming I'm not just seeing something that isn't really there...)

Those torsos and helmets are nice, are they exo-lord size or smaller?
I agree that prodos and Raging heroes already do the boob armor, but something like the Dreamforge Valkir armor work well for male and female depending on what kind of shoulder pads, helmets or male/female heads are used.
So i would suggest going in that direction if you ever plan to make exo-ladies
