I firmly believe version 1 is still the best. Is only 1 design being chosen?

I think the consensus is Version 3 with no slits is the best version.

The set will include 4 heads with visor down (2 of which will have lamps), 1 head with visor up and 1 head with no helmet.

Im also about to start work on a much more medieval looking helmet which will feature grill vents!


@NickJ - Yes Version one did have a slit with grill, but Im not happy with it because A. When printed at 28mm scale it will be tiny and really hard to paint and B. it looks like teeth, which throws the sci-fi look off a bit.

@Jehan - these are all part of the Regiments range, so Cadian compatible scale.

@Nostromodamus - Greatcoat legs are coming at the end of September - the release will feature 2 styles of great coat, including 2 torsos and 3 different head options, plus some new weapon options.

@MacMuckles - Yes Im afraid just one design for now, its always an option to print alternative options in future though.

Also you mentioned a trench raider styled release. Are there any plans for WW1 themed melee weapons like trench knives and trench flails?

The new gear being mentioned was teased on Facebook.

I like it, but given the rest of the model I think he should have gauntlet style gloves.

@Aka_Mythos - you're right he should have gauntlets and that would be cool, but making a new "style" of arm is a huge undertaking due to the number of poses needed (currently 16 unique pairs) and three+ new molds for the various different sprues.
I'm planning to make "jungle fighter/contractor" set later this year with bare/short sleeved arms.

@Sockwithaticket - Yeah the hand is a bit shoddy, and its a render of a part I already printed - I think it shows up a lot worse at this scale than at 28mm when the hand is 2mm wide..

Maybe you could design some seperate gloved hands? The arms wouldn't have to be any different; the buyer could just take a saw/clippers to the arms.

I hope that flared version is a separate option because I'm not a fan at all compared to the other shown pictures. It reminds me of The Shredder from TMNT.
The armor has a steampunk feel to it. I could see it appealing to a certain theme of army. Not for me personally but I could picture it being useful. Will there be a plain version like that and a slightly more ornate version for a veteran squad? Just an idea.

I think the flared version is meant to be a separate medieval-themed design, with the void helmet being the V3 one previewed above.

The head on the Medieval guy is designed as a themed set with the new Medieval Torso and existing Medieval shoulder pads.

@MacMuckles - Separate gloves also wouldnt work with the arms , but someone could add the cuffs with GS if they fancied a modelling challenge..

You can now have a squad of 10 with a Sergent and 9 specialist weapons for just £40, which is exceptionally good value I think.

Jungle Fighter/Private Military Contractor Set - Bare/Rolled sleeve arms and bare Heads with various hairstyles and gear, to match the fatigue legs/torsos and create jungle fighters, militia or near future/modern contractor type forces.
Cloaks and heads to make elite camouflaged light infantry.. a very "unique" regiment.
Parts to make Desert Insergent light infantry.

Oh man this range just keeps getting better and better.

With the Gothic Void Torso (with integral back), how do they interact with the special weapon kit arms and backpacks - do the hoses on the arms sync with the integral backpack on the torso, or would you be required to carve that pack off to add the special weapon pack?

EDIT: Ignore my last - I saw the note on the builder page that you'll swap out the torso for a plain one.

My order came in today, didn't have much time to build everything just yet, but I did find the time to stick three of the twenty together as test models.

I really love how this one turned out, I couldn't resist adding in a spare head from Statuesque, though not all will have bare heads, as I really love the helmets that come with these squads!



Prime Drusilla of the Saturnyne Amazons, I'll be adding two squads of these to my Solar Auxilia, counting as Veletaris Storm Sections.

Aside from looking really in place alongside other Solar Auxilia models, it also has a very, very nice generic sci-fi look to it that makes the models fit in quite handily with settings high on atomic rayguns and Venusian telepaths.

Just got my wave 3 lads in the post there, top notch stuff as always. However I ordered the wrong torsos

Still very happy with I got, same quality I've come to expect from you guys (e.g. head and shoulders above certain other brands *cough*forgeworld&spartan*cough cough*)
