Those crates and robots are mind-blowing! Mind explaining how you did the weathering and overall "splotchy" painting style? It just looks incredible.

Thanks mates. I'm really happy that you like both the puppets and the crates.

@ Mymearan : I made a tutorial to explain how I paint these kind of rusty things on my blog right here : http://code660066.blogspot.fr/2015/06/tutoriel-le-weathering-1.html
It's written in french, but I can translate it in English if you think it might be useful. Would someone be ok to correct my poor English when it's done ?

Also, I organized an Eden gaming day yesterday. I made an article about it on my blog : http://code660066.blogspot.fr/2016/02/spacinwavrin-journee-eden.html
You can skip the tchating and watch the images (almost 40 I think). Here's an overview :

Thanks Gits.

And the tutorial is now available in english. My first english blog article !
It took me forever to write, so please read it, try it, share it : http://code660066.blogspot.fr/2016/02/weathering-tutorial-painting-chipped.html

Thank you EDC.
I probably already say it, but your avatar is wonderful (I'd say it's mind-blowing ).

And a great thanks to Januine for his latest blog update. When I read it I looked like this fella :

After the puppets, here comes their master.
The model is crazy, it's a puppet theater stucked into a frigging 3 meters tall robot.

Thanks mates.
Now that I read Januine's blog article, I've realized how flashy my color scheme is. I didn't really thought about it before. Thanks for pointing this out Januine.
And it's even more obvious on the Puppet Master because he's big.

Yesterday I began a new project. I started another faction for Eden. You know... you never have enough.

Your flashiness is awesome Minus - don't change for anyone!!! Now get off Dakka and get some more painting done - we want mooooaaarrrr!!!!!!

Don't worry. I don't plan to paint everything brown and grey.

And I left my keyboard to paint a little. I wanted to try my color scheme for my new Eden faction. I started with a Mars attacks dog, as count as for Leo, because the key of my scheme is the skin.
Here's what I got.

What do you guys (and girls) think ?
Is it colored enough Januine ? ^^

That's bloody lovely. Really nice scheme. The ever so light blue glaze on the highlights is a perfect finishing touch. Love it

Haha.
How about this little one ?

It's my second test model, to confirm my color scheme and the way I'll proceed to paint the skin.

Thanks guys.
The next step has begun : today I start painting the (almost) humans of the group. I'm curious to see how the color scheme works on them and how the addition of clothes will impact the result. ^^

Yesterday I finished painting Jeremias.
You can find more views on my blog : http://code660066.blogspot.fr/2016/02/eden-un-convoi-pas-comme-les-autres-1.html

So in fact my Convoy is a group of escapes from an underground Askari laboratory. Askaris made scientific experiments on them, wich explains their mutations. Since they're former prisonners, I chose to paint their clothes orange. I think that it works pretty well with the skin tones.

And Jeremias, with my "dogs" :
