Tried to do some NMM chrome on the shield... not sure if I like it. Might replace the shield.

Just got a chance to look through the whole blog. Everything looks amazing! I think you nailed the NMM chrome. Subbed!

Yeah, I like the shield the way it is, too. Maybe it would have been cool to have the reflection of a dying enemy in the chrome?

Or m I asking too much?

Yea, your asking a bit much with that

I kinda suck at art. Maybe in a couple hundred years I'll be that good. That said, here's the complete MKII Vanguard squad -

Managed to put the second squad of vanguard together... these guys are in MKV Heresy plate though, not MKII. still forgeworld, still look cool

having problems getting the primer coat to stick to them... going to try to coat them with dullcoat before priming.

You probably didn't wash the resin well enough. The release agent from the mould is still on the model and thus the primer isn't sticking very well. Great models by the way!

I thought the same thing, but I washed them like 3 times with soap and warm water, scrubbing pretty good with a toothbrush. I've heard hitting them with some dullcoat before spraying can help.

Ah. Very well then Sirrah! Let me know how it goes as I've had a similar problem with FW before.

All looking really amazing! Just a couple of points, the glow effect seems to bleed out over the whole model, and I think it retracts from the great paint job you did, and you could do with some less obvious grey highlights on your chaplain, other than that, absolutely awesome work! Keep going!
