Heres some WIP's of the unit so far, only the skin is done, the rest are mostly basecoated and washed... c&c welcome....
I did however made a new (to me at least) way of skin that I like best, which is Bugmans Glow, Reikland Fleshshade, Bugmans Glow, 50:50 Bugmans Glow to Cadian Fleshtone, Cadian Fleshtone.... experimenting more with it though
Also I must add, my favorite one (darth maul pattern tattoo face) didnt take a great picture... will definalty retake that one...

tho i have to say seeing the last series of pics... i think your paints could have been a bit thinner... specially on the heavy guy... which is a really neat conversion by the way... something every guard player should have seen! really screams harker to me!
the first guys head... the one with the empire wizard head... wow... cool idea! and i think your butcher should get some bloodstains on his apron!... otherwise...where would be the brutality with him

thanks for all the comments vik! it means alot! Which paints did you think where too thick I was using a wet pallet this time? And dont you worry blood stains will appear, like i said (did I?) only the skin is really done... the rest is only washed and basecoated

i think the green and some metal paints werent that thin.... see shoulderpad of the flagalant headed chainsword wielder...
and on your "harker" heavy guy the green is a bit bumpy too... also... regarding that mini? what have you done to get this conversion? at forst i thought it was a chopping job... but now that i had a second view... i think it is GS carpace on the cultist body with a headswap? am i right?

that conversion my friend really makes me think hard about getting the cultists now...darn!^^
i had them today in my hand by the way... was at the GW shop... the problem i still see with them is that because of the one pose minis... you need to glue them before chopping them then apart for conversions going beyond GS or headswaps...
