Love the beastmen! I like the close combat weapon idea, don't forget some pistols too. Will Torgo be part of the squad with a normal armored torso?

The beastman looks great and if you could do some Steel legion heads that would be even better

I second the armoured legs; getting armoured guardsmen is a right pain in the but, and the only ones available on the market that are suitable aren't anywhere near Vic's level of talent, the same against for greatcoat bodies.

As for the beastmen, I like the look, and compatibility with catachan arms will make it easy to produce "normal" guardsmen out of them. With the trench raider style loadout, they'd make excellent Chaos Cultists. Not quite my style mind you, but I like the direction.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Whenever I see a beastman model, it just looks wrong not wearing a kilt, i don't know why!

Lovely new stuff Vic, will be looking forward to placing another order with you in the near future!

Maybe I missed it, sorry for bringing it up again if so, but when will the Rough Rider arms be back in stock? While the big 10 man deal looks tempting, I only need enough for four men.

Love the new stuff lately Vic. Really hope you move to plastic (unlikely I know) or resin since I really don't like dealing with metals but would love to pick up a bunch of your stuff.

well...my last order of victoria lamb miniatures came today!!! yay!...

no hustle with customs anymore... got my package just in the letterbox!... and i am totally satisfied... i have to tell you...nearly no flash... moldlines you have to actually search for... so only peeps with a mild OCD will have to get rid of them... (i did^^)... the casting is as good looking as you can wish for...

now i have enough for at least ten men with complete vic supported bitz... and if i take some GW arms too... then i am equipped for ten more...

here are the bitz that have accumulated...:

and this is my first assembled victoria lamp praetorian...

the lighter guy... i just had to do him first as this one is by far the most cool looking collection of bitz of the lot...

also...note that the vic paretorians stand a little bit taller than the GW ones... which isn´t so bad as i think the bigger the better and also if i mix them right this wont be much of a problem...

well... so much for now...

cheers, vik

Looks great. It appears that Vics figs fit right in between The current Cadians and the 2nd edition metal figs. Just right!

To you and the rest of those who have Victoria miniatures arms in their posession I need some help. In my bits box I just found a metal comissar with no arms! This guy right here:

The current plastic bits are a bit on the large side. Would the Victoria Miniatures officer arms be a good fit?

I think if Officer Arms A are used it shouldn't be too out of place.

Got my order in today, just need to wait on the other order I placed you shipped out today and my small Guard force is more or less complete with most of the infantry and cavalry made up of Victoria Miniatures parts!

Great quality on the resin bits by the way, no holes, miscasts or misaligned parts, just flash and a slightly greasy feel to the bits, but nothing a quick rinse can't fix.

As I've said before, keep up the great work Vic!

Looks like great minds think (& order!) alike! I just got one order in today and I'm waiting on one more that just shipped a couple of days ago.
I haven't got any of the resin pieces yet, but the new kilt sculpts are way awesome! They have great detail and very clean! I second the "keep up the great work vic!" sentiment!

Hi, here's another workbench pic. These are the heads for 'Torgo's Trenchraiders', a six (beast) man squad to compliment Beast Captain Torgo. This squad is fully modular with lots of cool extra bits for personal customization. They went off for moulding yesterday, so fingers crossed, they will be on sale at Adepticon and in the online store soon after. Better get back to work
Cheers,
V

I like how you made these so the arms could be used for regular humans or beastmen. These would be great for all sorts of things, from militia to cultists to trench fighters to vets and even hive gangers.

That flame pistol is boss by the way.

O great now I have to add more to my ever growing order they look great and like my good fellow above mentioned great multi use for the arms

I also am admiring the hand flamer the separate tank connected is a genius idea although the shotgun arms are the best thing for my current project

Will the arms be in sets of weapons and hand weapons sets or mixed ? I only ask as I want a load of the bare armed shotguns but will have less use for loads of hand weapons sets.

I foresee me sending lots more money to vic soon!!

The beastmen are coming around in a great way! I'm loving the heads and arms.
Are there going to be single arms holding lasguns/shotguns? So we can mix n match
the hand weapons in with them?

Can't wait!!

Got my order just now, a pack of resin Rough Rider parts, plus some dress uniform torsos, capped heads and shoulder boards. Good stuff all round again, however..

While I am amazed that the resin got here in one piece, all of the spears are wobbly-warped, bit of a bother that can hopefully be fixed with hot water. Failing that, cut away the offending parts, drill out the hands and apply brass rods.

just hold the resin spears in some hot water for a few seconds and they will straighten out easily. I'm open to suggestions on how to make long thin bits like spears non bendy

Hi, Announcing a very special new release, many of you will know the Penal Guard conversion kit was one of the first Vic Minis metal sets. I am now very excited to show you what I was aiming for all along.
The New Penal Guard 10 man Kit has been almost 12 months in the making and it represents a huge step forward for Vic Minis.
This is the first full resin squad from Victoria Miniatures, its packed with character and contains plenty of extra bits to customize your legion.
The Penal Guard kit It will make 10 convicts or 9 convicts and one overseer. If this kit is successful, It will be the first in a range of fully compatible, customizable, quality resin guard squads. This is my first project working with an expert USA caster, with over 40 years experience in the hobby. So, if you like what you see please help spread the word, it will really help Vic Minis move into a new phase
Thanks,
V

Zoly Moly! Those are amazing!

Edit: These would also be good Chaos cultist figures, especially since you include so many torsos and heads.
