Orks have some excellent options to use for the shoulders for the old Cadians too by the looks, with some small modifications. Depending on scale, but they should be close enough... the shoulders ont he old Cadians look pretty big, and all seem to be different/improvised.

I think you'll find most of the Ork pads to be oversized for the human shoulders. Your best bet would be to get a plasticard tube, cut it in half lengthways and cut to size.

Really excited to see more from you Vic. Would be good to see some more special weapon options, to give people a wider variety of choices for that grim-dark game.

I've been looking for some transports to fit with your Highlanders, and am thinking of butchering some C8 Morris Tractors. Of course, I wouldn't have to if you made some of your own

The machete arm looks ace as do the weapons pack.

Those Arcadians are spot on. When the female version drops will you be offering up a mixed squad too?

Thanks for the comments,
In the meantime, the great Jake Schneider has been busy. Check out this amazing tank he has designed and sculpted. It is roughly the size of a Leman Russ, and has interchangeable tracks. This would be the biggest project Vic Minis has ever produced, Jake and I would love to hear your feedback and can't wait to produce this as a fine resin kit. Comments please
Cheers, V

Wow? It's a lovely rendition of the old Queen of the Desert, I will most certainly have to get one of these.

Are the weapon mounts interchangeable though?

That is a thing of beauty.

Love the coaxial weapon replacing the pintle mount, and the slightly more practical turret to main gun ratio... Although I think the hull gun protrudes too far.

Any plans to fit sponsons on it?

And any idea of a ballpark price?

Wow. That's an interesting looking tank. I'm not quite sure what about it's design has grabbed my interest so much but there's something going on there. What that something is though, I'm not sure.

Here's a few thoughts.
- Interesting mix of soft and hard angles. The hull has got nice hard angles while the copula and hull front is nice and rounded. This could be the something I mentioned above. Still don't know yet.
- I like that it's got a long almost rectangular Chimera shaped body as opposed to the leany square that the Leman Russ has.
- It's got a nice kind of WW2 aesthetic going for it, yet it still has a sci-fi kind of feel to it. I think it's the space-agey looking gun on the hull and round copula that does it.
- Would this tank kit have a range of weapon options? If so, then what kind of weapons?
- What does "interchangeable tracks" mean? Will there be a range of tracks available at some point or will you be offering wheels as well? I'm not quite sure what interchangeable tracks means. This could just be me being dense though.
- Considering that GW Leman Russes are grossly overpriced at $83AUD what kind of price are we looking at for this tank here? Rough estimate even?

- Lastly, and rather unrelatedly. The trooper used for scale. He is a glimpse at a possible future release?

Tasmania.. Which way's Oregon from here again?

Yes BrookM, it is exactly.

I've tried my hardest to keep the look, while keeping things in the right shape/sizes to work in place of... other.... things.

There has been a lot of thought put into interchangeability of weapons, and while I'm not in a position to comment (damn that leash!), rest assured that such concerns have been taken into account.

As I can't really go into details (yet!), I'll have to ask you to trust me on this, as I am a modeller myself and I always taken into account what would I want in a kit/figure/gun/bag.

I started 3d modelling and sculpting as a gamer, albeit originally for computer games, and refined it into productionable stuff so that I could have things I would want to play with around.

Victoria and I are very much eye to eye on many things, and most importantly are these two principles: design things you want to play with/paint/have on your shelf, and modularity.

So, knowing what you do about V's figures and options and swapping stuff around, I will let you make your own educated guesses as to what may be in store for this beastie.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Awesome!!

If it is a Leman proxy I'll advise you to make the turret a little bit wider, just to accomodate every crew member comfortably.
And maybe do the track a little bit wider, just to give it a more "aggressive" feeling.

Keep it coming!

I have some minor critiques but overall I think it looks awesome.

1.) I'd like it if the main gun was perhaps a slightly smaller caliber, and the barrel were perhaps a bit longer. Though, perhaps this is the short barrelled siege gun, and not the main battle cannon.

2.) Not crazy about the hex bolts instead of smaller rivets, but I know sometimes things can look "off" in CAD and look alright on the tabletop.

3.) The twin pintle-mount gun seems a little too long. I think either the forward part of the barrel should extend further into the shroud, or the shroud should extend further into the barrel, but not equidistant as they are now.

The rest of it I really like a lot. The tanks on the rear, the heat vents for the engine, the styling, they're all really nice looking. Interchangeable tracks? Bananas! I can't wait to get one of these.

What are the vent things in the side armor for on the original tank?

Don't take me only addressing this particular part as dismissing the rest, but like I said, currently there's only so much I can say!

The "vent things" on the original side armour are sand/soil dumps - a lot of it can get carried up on the return trip, and if the track armour (which is basically what this is, an early side skirt that's in addition to the main armour behind the track) was solid, it would eventually clog up and stop the tracks/tear the hell out of them.

It is, to me, a very distinctive feature of the tank, gives it personality.

Also, coincidentally, it could be a good way to sneak in/on sponson based weapons...

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

I'm not a fan of the tank. It's too much a straight copy of the Matilda and not enough a spiritual successor. The same sort of details applied to a tank with a more modern silhouette would be my first thought.

If the guy is 28mm, the tank is way too big. I'm pretty sure it's just a scale error, unless that hull mounted gun is supposed to be a 75mm

The turret cupola looks a bit too tall, and I would probably angle the hull and turret sides a bit more, to give it a look that's somewhere between WW2 and modern. I would also hope for some stowage bins and interchangeable guns.

Don't forget, it's also heroic scale, so some exaggeration for effect is definitely going on. It's a downright lovely tank though, I really like it.
