Preordered the ladies finally. Just one box to start for the pre-order, mostly because I'm the slowest person you'll ever meet at putting stuff together.

Vic, In the near-ish future could you possibly do a mixed (male/female) unit deal of 10 Arcadians with parts for a sgt. and no special weapon? I'd love to get some of both but can't justify $100 and I don't really want 20 figures just for display. If not PLEASE get the rifle arms up so weirdos like me can build a smaller mixed squad for a reasonable price sooner rather than later.

Vic, another request: Arcadian/generic 28mm unhelmeted female heads. Microart studios no longer make theirs, Shadowforge's are a bit too small.

I'm sure yours would be perfect and you can sell them for use with the female Tannenburgers. And Female Van Diemens, and Female Border World Rangers and Female Victorian Guard and Female Penal Guard <wink wink>

So, I don't need to sell organs to hire RITides as my model-napping mercenary? Yay!

Thanks Vic.

And those Arcadians look amazing!

Well done Vic! I can't see a home for these guys in my IG force yet, but will probably buy some anyway because they're such lovely minis.

Keep up the great work!

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

Yay! Ordered me a resin LE standard bearer!

Those squads look fantastic. If I decide to keep playing guard (and 40k), I may have to find a way to make an army based on them.

The female head set appears to have two separate listings available for pre-order. Is there any difference between them or just an error on the web page?

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

There is only one, that is an error, I'll check it out. Thanks, V

Made my preorder! Oh Vic, I also ordered a color sergeant separately, If its better for you to combine the two, do I need to get you the order numbers?

Arcadians look great. I was kind of expecting to see new lasgun arms though.

Not sure about the tank. While I like that tank and am pleased to see a grimdarkified version, I kind of picture it as a Space Marine vehicle more than an IG one. I think I'd rather see it more tech'd out with smoother armor and less rivets. It does look good though and looks loads better than a Leman Russ.

I noticed that the guys have an armoured plate on each shoulder, while quite a few girls only have one on their left arm, is there a reason for this?

Just curious!

Nice and they look more proportional than GW troopers.
I enjoy reading the background fluff on the site for the other troop types, and wonder if there will soon be Arcadian fluff to read ???

These guys & gals look great. Soon as I figure out everything I need I'm gonna be using the arcadians for my new army, and mixing in APCs and other goodies from Dreamforge

I think mixing in the Dreamforge APCs with these will look awesome

And just note guys, this mini is in resin for $20 while the one sold at AdeptiCon will be in metal for $10. So, for the folks in the US who signed up for me to pick one up for them (about 10 in all) I think it still makes sense to do so. Then you can check out the mini and if you like it, order the units from vic

Obviously, if anyone who did ask me to pick up one for them would like to be refunded and order the resin version instead, just let me know! But I think having both options available is great, and agreed with Azazelx, thank you to Vic and Muwhe for making that happen

Oh also .. Vic, since GW is making plastic ogryns they are likely to have super awesome rules so everyone will want to buy them. Can you please make Arcadian ogryns that don't look as stupid as GW's?

Thanks for pointing that out RiTides. I have an unnatural aversion to metal, but can't quite stomach the $20 for a single ltd ed resin mini like that hehe.

I actually prefer metal to resin for some strange reason, so I'm perfectly fine with the Adepticon one.

Right now I'm waiting on a tax return so I can make an order, and hoping those awesome new weapons will be out when it comes time to do so.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Well, I think for a standard bearer metal does have some advantages, and since it's cheaper that's also one . But it's great that they allowed victoria miniatures to cast some in resin for a limited time to sell with the units, too... those units look better than almost any other guard models I've seen, imo.
