Not sure yet, it depends on printer and caster. I'll be making it available as soon as I can.

A set of rear wheels/suspension (2 rear wheels each side, in particular) to go with those front wheels would definitely get a few orders from me.

Conversion parts suitable for use with the new GW Taurox kit.

Now, I'd like to make one very important disclaimer - what you see here is NOT the master, it is the quick, low quality print to ensure that the piece fits properly onto the chassis.

The file has been sent off to the 3d printing company and will be immediately despatched to the caster upon completion.

Looks good! The Taurox model is much better when it is either fully wheeled or half-track, I think, rather than the GW tracks.

I hope you can order them individually and not just as a pair as I think the half track concept is pretty cool.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

I was just talking with my friend the other day about how much better the Taurox looks as a halftrack, and how hard it is to find suitable wheels for one. Very nice with the suspension and all - I can definitely see myself getting a set of these if I get one of those cute little Imperial Tonka trucks!

That's a nice-looking accessory.

It still amazes me how a company that so clearly hates the third party accessory market keeps making models that don't look good until you put an accessory on them.

They're already pretty bad gamewise, I don't think I'd want 2.

I greenstuffed a coat onto a Cadian, shaved down the sides of the helmet, and after I add cuffs, it will look a lot like those pics, minus the face mask. Very easy conversion.

I used Vic's conscript legs though, cause no pockets makes it easier to shape the coat.

I'll be ordering a ton more legs soon as I find a job

Nice wheels would be nice if there were also alternate wheel guards and/or mud spoilers

Two wheels don't fit on the rear unless you lengthen it out, sadly. It was the first thing I checked.

Well, that's not entirely true - without going to Lowrider style wheels and tyres, two don't fit. I just couldn't bring myself to do that to it, even if it is a daft looking kit stock.

As always, stay tuned, you never know what Victoria will let me do next!

Yes, the front wheels are great, and matching rear wheels would be equally great (as would some options like a half-track rear), but some matching wheel guards (to better fit around the new wheels) would be icing on the cake.

Good business move faolan and Vic - I will be recommending your wheels wherever I see someone moaning about the Taurox.

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

I was thinking about a half track rear too, but then remembered the kit does come with tracks in the first place, so you could just buy one set of the wheels for the front and leave the tracks on the back. Assuming the wheels leave the vehicle at the same ground clearance as the tracks anyway.

Got a question regarding some of the heads you're selling:

I'm looking to replace the standard Elysian Drop Troop heads with either these

http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/custodian-heads-x10

or these

http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/chem-mask-heads-x10

Now, I know that FW Imperial Guard troops are of a different size than the standard plastic GW Guard models, and normally the plastic heads are too big proportionally to use on Elysian torsos.
So I was wondering how these heads scale; would they fit well on Elysians? Anyone else have any experience with these?

Kind regards,

Zaph

Hi, thanks for the questions, I don't have any Elysians, so I'm not sure about the fit. My stuff fits plastic cadians but is a bit less bulky.

Just got my Adepticon standard bearer mini in. Looks awesome as always from Vic! I'm looking forward to building and priming it tonight so I can paint it soon.

If the rest of the Arcadian range is this awesome I'll be putting in a big order as soon as those cool new weapon arms show up in the store. :thumbs up:

Got the LE metal edition mini from Adepticon. EDIT: Was drunk when I posted "normally I don't pay this much". Should have clarified I normally don't spend much on a single mini, but for the excellent contact RiTides kept with me and the quick shipping it was worth every penny. Big apologies to RiTides, hopefully I didn't make anybody think he ripped me off. Quite the opposite, I was really happy with the deal I got, he gave me a great price.

Remember kids, alcohol and DakkaDakka don't mix.

Its a cool model, I'll post some pics tomorrow once I'm sober and had a chance to put it together and get it primed. It definitely shows that Vic nailed the female guard look better than any other place out there.

If you ever consider doing a full 6-wheel conversion set, you should consider making it a bit lower than the current full-track version. Because the original Taurox looks much too high.

Hrm, with the amount of work that would be, one may as well just design a new vehicle, as you're 2/3 of the way there already.
