How are you folks (from the Kickstarter) finding your Sledgehammers to be?
Mine came in earlier today at long last. I've partially assembled one so far, but like alphaecho I'll be upgrading mine with tracks and shields next month when the budget allows for it.

So far, minimal cleanup is needed, there's a bit of flash or bit of sprue still remaining, or a very faint mold line. Super glad that the main artillery piece can be glued together with plastic glue, none of that superglue bs, many thanks for that choice!

Biggest defect amongst the three sets is that one of the three crank guys is miscast around the right shoulder, some sort of weird bubble was there that upon removal revealed a rather ugly spot. No biggy for me though, as I wasn't planning on using them all anyway, so I got two spares.

Not unless your luggage is going by container ship.

It's a bit dodgy that Reaper can't even say when the ship is supposed to arrive, though this could be them going "yeah, whatever, it's finally out of our hands now, TTFN!"

*Shrug* Or the carrier company does not provide that information - some container companies are better than others in that regards.

Sometimes 'out of our hands' means 'there is nothing more we can do until it comes in'.

The Auld Grump - somewhere, out there in the ocean, is a container that holds some of the first Eldar Falcon grav tanks bound for the US.... waiting for future marine archaeologists to find them, and mislabel them as religious icons....

I certainly wouldn't blame Reaper on this - shipping companies have terrible track records in Australia and New Zealand.

Just ask CMON about one of the Zombicide Kickstarter campaigns where Toll broke contract and didn't start to deliver pledges until after retailers released it. Or what the same shipper did with Conan pledges...

From Facebook

I have 50 Matilda’s incoming! 25 of each variant plus 25 sponson kits.
These will go up for pre-sale in the next day or so. Notification of sale will be made initially via the email subscribers list.
If you miss out don’t worry, another casting run will be done.
I expect this first fifty to ship before the end of August, possibly earlier.

Do both turret styles include all of the options for the main gun?

Doesn't include the guns for the other style.

That said, they're all cross compatible.

Wow, they came up great!

Very nice details and looking pretty crisp. I also just noticed the co-axial gun next to the cannon, very useful.
With the extra stowage bits and jerry cans you guys do as well, I can see a great personalized HQ Command Tank too

Tanks look great, although I'm particularly excited by the horse. Any chance of a horse gasmask option? Would be great for Savlar chem dogs etc. and is an option that is even less common than good heroic horses.

Damn. I'd suggest you guys offer an upgrade pack if possible- or include all options (given the premium price-point).

I love the turret on the left, but only really want them for gatling cannons, so I'll probably get neither.

The sponsons will be available as an additional kit.

Uh... yeah I know, but that doesn't help me get the turret weapons that I want with the turret design that I want.

All guns will fit in either turret. And with the size of the plug I used, you shouldn't need to use magnets either.

The website has it next to some of their Infantry and the Facebook page has a comparison to a Russ.

Mine had to visit the Royal Mail depot to pick up and pay the customs charge on my tracks, gun shields and squad order while I'm working away from home.....

Bad timing on my part. She now knows how much I spent.

Fortunately I don't inflict a TV sports subscription on the household so I have a lot of leeway on hobby purchases.

Mine's had to do that with AusPost a few times, and yes, I too have gotten in trouble for it previously. Now though, she just assumes all my toys are paid for with sculpting money, and it's not an issue. At least, not until she bothers to match up the records between the bank accounts, then I'm fethed.

Mine wants a sports package for the TV, but she can't find one with enough rodeo AND ice hockey on it, so I keep being spared that expense.

Lovely model, but well and truly out of my price range, unfortunately. Pricier than a baneblade if you want sponsons and turret weapon options...
