We'll find out soon enough eh.

Bionics would be so brilliant, but if you do them can I make one request?

Make them crude, brutal, utilitarian pieces. The nice looking stuff should be for officers, grunts should get the basic model.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Vic I was doing so good about not buying things. Why do you keep doing this to me? First the Valhallans lookalikes are finally getting released and now a simpler taurox suspension? Why do you hate me having money?

I like the look of it, looks way more sturdy. Iget compliments on my one taurox all the time so now that there's a simpler and more robust suspension system I'll have to pick up a couple more. They really do go a long way toward making the lovable little abominations look good

The Skitarii. They got their own book at the end of 7th, but got folded back into the Adeptus Mechanicus in 8th. Basically the Vanguards, Rangers, and Rust Stalkers.

Interesting. Those look like very early prints. I like the hull design a lot, and the turrets look great too.

Not sure what is going on with one of the turrets, giant harpoon gun maybe?

I believe it's an eagle headed cannon.

Tasmania.. Which way's Oregon from here again?

They were "quick" prints just before Adepticon, so they're not on as fine of resolution as production prints would be, nor have they had as much attention devoted to them for cleaning them up.

It's not quite an eagle headed cannon - it's more of a dragon.

I'm enclosing an old "Technical Manual" style image of it. Well, ok, so it's two images.

Nice!

The turrets have a distinctly WWII British Empire look about them (the smaller turret looks like a Crusader turret). What are the chassis based on? Any tank in particular or just a cool design? I'm thinking one of the Australia-unique tanks?

Well, the turrets are Cruiser Mk IV/V/VI ish for the one with a rear mounted turret, and the other is later mark Valentine-ish.

The chassis aren't really based upon anything. There's a vaguely Char b2 influence, but that's relatively small, and more noticeable in the tracks.

I thought it looked like the Crusader (cruiser mkVI). I can see the Valentine influence in the other turret too.

Fair enough on the body, it looks good anyhow.

Is this an MBT type vehicle, or a potential universal platform that will have APC style options and maybe an SPG style option? Asking for a friend...

Well the dragon head cannon appears to be a hellhound equivalent at the very least.

I think it's more in line with dragons spew fire, Brook.

I could, however, be incorrect in that assessment.

So will the new Adepticon mini be released temporarily online again? If so, when? Haevn't missed one yet!

The Victoria Miniature range is oh so good looking that I have been in awe at them for so long, and with the announcement that plastic Sisters of Battle were coming, which meant I would go back to 40k and could use some IG allies. So I went in like a child in a candy store and bought over 200$ of mini from various regiments. When really it would have been better to focus on one regiment to get a coherent force! Well, too late, my IG allies are going to be some all-star IG .

I suspect towards the latter part of April since I recall a FB post where Vic mentioned the matching squad being for sale then. I wouldn't mind knowing a more precise date though. You know...for a friend...

I suspect it'll go up sometime after she gets back home. I would guess 3rd or 4th week of the month.

But that's entirely unofficial and entirely guess.
