Fair point. I'll start a new thread for strong chins. I'll put it in New And Rumors. I just hope the moderators consider updates on actor's jawlines as being News worthy.

All kidding aside, the heads look incredible, and the modern torsos look staggeringly like the Improved Outer Tactical Vest I wore in Iraq. I can't wait to see them covered in kit. Keep up the amazing work.

Additionally, are you considering backpacks in the future? I feel like soldiers without a ruck don't look very soldierly. Unfortunately, most backpacks produced have fairly soft detail or just look like huge Santa sacks. It may be worth looking into, though I may just be a minority. It seems like most people are comfortable with sending their plastic soldiers into battle armed with just the magazine in their weapon and a thin coat of CLP.

The perfect way to get us off discussing strong chins would of course be to offer us options for discussing news worthy moustaches. Neh?

We need some heads rocking great 'staches and mutton chops so we can convert up some old timey style manz and cavalry commanders.



Edit: Back packs are also a great idea.

Will do, Steve! However, I have two projects to finish first.

Take a look at Klaus, Not Santa's project blog though. He also received his shipment of your fine sculpts and is using them in his current diorama (on page 38 of his Dakka blog). The ironic thing is that we both ordered (and received) your products at about the same time and he lives within 30 miles of me (I think) in Germany.

I bet that he gets his models painted before I do.

Yeah, Klaus is a hobby machine. I follow everything he does with great interest.

Dammit they are Nice Steve! sadly i gotta wait til Tuesday for my order frenzay again! :-( and believe me that's a big sad! any news on the Major coming back?

I should also have some Spec ops heads and the others i bought last order painted this week too! so very very nicely done they are all a pleasure to paint! especially the heads with the military caps on them!

@Damo: Cheers, mate! The Major will be part of a re-evaluation of the greatcoat figures. They will be getting re-sized to fit more in line with what I'm currently putting out. I don't have a time frame but it will be a while.

Thanks Steve, just wanted to check what was happening :-) and by the sounds of it are you going to bring the greatcoats in line with your resin work by re sizing slightly and changing the casting material? as they are lovely models too!

Basically, yes. The heads are there already and the rest of the parts just need to be re-sized & re-proportioned. I just don't know if I'll be able to get to them anytime soon.

I am a patient man Steve!

I know this will sound like a backhanded compliment, but the products you've been putting out lately so far outclass the greatcoats you first put out. They don't look bad, but you've clearly and significantly improved. I'm sure the revamp will be welcomed with opening wallets.

@noneoftheabove0: Sometimes those are the kind of lessons you have to learn when you think you know what you're doing. I learned from it and, like you said, things are going in a much better direction.

Hmm, those DEVGRU heads could also be useful to repurpose for conversions, e.g. cultists, henchmen, bodyguards etc whose eyes have been replaced by bionic and/or evil equivalents.

Those chins are almost like implants, they have no flak armor to wear. They need something to stop the onslaught of the green tide.

I didn't realize that Jay Leno was an Imperial Officer.
