Maybe a set of arms in various positions and a set of hands of various types that could slot into the arms using a peg and hole system.

As for types of hands (make both right and left-handed versions):
holding a 1" or longer rod (that could be trimmed to an appropriate height to add an axe head, mace, shovel, banner, etc.)
holding a steering wheel
holding a cigar
holding a bottle/can of beer
clenched fist
open hand
holding a pistol grip
'flipping the bird'

Doing two-handed items are a little trickier because torsos are often different widths from company to company, and sometimes within the same company.
That said, you could have the following:
weaver stance pistol grip
crossed arms
holding a 2" or longer rod

As above most I agree with but I would also like to see the doubled hands on hip arm set, these are great for HQ figures.

I would also like to see an arm wiping sweat from his head so to speak also saluting, maybe an arm to keep the sun from there eyes.

A set I would like to see would be a working arm set, arms holding tools in working positions this would be fantastic.

Maybe some carrying style arms so you could add objects, arms holding books in poses to look like they are holding an open book.

I like the folded arm idea a lot

Please, no 'flipping the bird' hands. Lordy, what a trope.

Correct, after the basic legs will be Imperial Legs, carapace legs, even an update to the Sadoukadi Greatcoats as well.

What do people think about an arms/legs Kickstarter? I may consider one once I can get my first sets completed.

I'd get behind this 100%

I hate to be the guy that posts something about a competitor on your page, but Victoria Lamb has an excellent set of alternate arms, though obviously for her Victorian line. I think, however, it's a great jumping off point in terms of what should be included in a set of non combat arms.

Hey Mad Robot !

Hands would be useful , they are super tough to sculpt or convert for most of us !

Those "Not - Aliens " infantry parts are great , thinking of just getting some for the hell of it !

I'd love to see some "Not- Gears of War " styled parts , any chance of a torso and possibly legs ?

I ordered Devgru heads , they are AWESOME on Anvil Industries Black Ops teams.

I would second this. Unless you want to make a 'rebellious, d&%chebag teen' up(down)grade pack.

Once the first sets of arms and legs are out, I'll work on a set of "at ease" arms. I think some hands can be worked in there somewhere.

More great ideas Steve, I look forward to seeing how you incorporate the different sets and the hands down the track will be very useful for a lot of different conversions. you really have a great handle on what 'we' want in the hobby world and are doing an exceptional job of getting it to us! thank you so much!

Hands sets would be of great use, I remember having a set of Verlindan ( I think that was their name) hands they were great for conversions, if you cant find an arm to suit the job you wanted you sculpt the general shape onto a wire frame and add the hand.

By this I mean at rest smoking drinking hands on hips even, maybe a leaning posed miniature would be great, I know this is a lot to ask but this could be a key factor to boosting interest.

And, for the love of everything, we don't need any more 'Disco' poses, or pointing index fingers, and so forth. We need open hands, simple closed fists, hands holding things, etc.

Surely we could do something truly great by combining one hand on hip arm with a pointing hand!

You know what would be a fast conversion and give you another product to add to your line?

That jump pack looks ace. If it fit the theme of my guard even remotely I'd be in there.

Kind regards,
Howie.

Great stuff. Honestly, though, I'm waiting for you to finish out the Colonial Defense set with some arms and legs that work well with the heads and torsos you've made. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way, as putting those torsos on Cadians with their giant shoulder pads and silly long tops would be a crime.

I would like the second the hands. A left hand sculpt would allow us to use your weapons with GW arms.

A blank rounded shoulder pad would allow us to use the arms with Cadians.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess hands are on the short list now...arms are coming soon, hopefully by the week of July 8th, but no guarantees. A few other things on the immediate horizon are bandaged heads, equipment pouches, backpacks, and shotguns. Then come the legs somewhere in there as well.

Here's another view of the Jump Pack...

Just a quick +1. Need arms!

Jump pack looks a little small when mounted on that torso, imo.

I'm beginning to think that those would be perfect for Eisenkern, both size- and style-wise. Fallschirmjager anyone?

Guildsman has the idea. These are more intended to aid troopers jumping/dropping from an altitude. More designed to aid in landing than in taking off, hence the smaller size.

Those are the best options for "Grav Chutes" I have ever seen.

Terrain packs when that extra few inches counts assists with drop deployment and crag jumping.

First time for everything, I suppose. Might have to pick those up. A set of Eisenkern would look pretty smart as fallschirmjagers with those packs.
