I'm surprised these guys didn't take off like the Soviet themed guys did. I think these guys actually look better and have better detail.

I know I can't wait for mine to show up! If I had more cash I would be buying a second squad to make a "rescue team" with

This is where I'm at but I am already in a position that I'll need to be ordering a bunch of other stuff from Steve about the time these release.. so I'll just have to be patient and grab up the rescue squad heads at that point. The suspense is killing me though

Any 'near' future plans for making some alternate arms for the existing range?(incuding the current roll call ones)

I too am looking forward to getting my figures. Once they do release though, I intend to buy another 2 squads and make a Rescue Team and a LRRP team.

yeah, I'm jobless right now :( If I had cash I'd have bought more, and hopefully by the time they release I will have found something, and I'll make some orders for more.

I'm selling off my Eldar stuff, if I make enough I'll weigh car payments vs DaNamian stuff meow.

As the Roll Call funded early, I have already sent out the majority of the basic parts for printing. You can expect them to ship a bit sonner than initially planned.

@Orc Master: some different arms will be available at some point, hopefully this year but I can'y say for sure.

I got my Colonial Defense parts today. The quality of the facial sculpts is really good. The pics of the site don't really do them any justice. It's too bad that they arrived while I'm house sitting though since I don't have any of my stuff with me and I can't work on them.

That's OK, you should probably hold off on starting those for a few more weeks...

Dangit Robot, you better not be about to release something totally not related to Aliens.

You know, especially not arms with those cool roman styled armor thingies on them, or cool combat armored legs.

Because if those were to not come out I totally wouldn't want a platoon of those.

I'd love to throw in some bare arms and maybe some more torsos but I don't want to get hit on shipping again :/

Finally got my order in

Had to wait nearly a whole month from when the Roll Call started, I should have had my order placed last Pay Day but some unforeseen expenditures popped up and put the kibosh on that...

Remember when I said this;

 VikingChild wrote:
Can't wait for the DaNamians Steve, really looking forward to see what you've got in store for us, payday is just around the corner, I can see a path through the jungle from my wallet to the Roll Call, HOO-RAH!

Well the Deathworld jungle said otherwise, swallowed up that trail and laughed in my face! Creepy jungle bird laughter too

Anyways 1 complete DaNamian squad ordered and enough other separate bits to make some more grunts will make May a very happy month for me.

Cheers for continuing to make awesome products like these guys, keep up this great work that you do!

No hints, a new regiment launch

Send me an email with the order numbers please and I'll take care of it.

Are you ever going to convert the Colonial Defense into a full regiment?

I don't know that I'd personally be able to get in on that one but it seems like a bit of a no-brainer.

I know you've already got tons of suggestions so I'll bite my tongue and enjoy the show.

On another note.. my mom's cancer is out and the lymph nodes came back negative. Sorry to sidetrack with this.. I mentioned it here previously and thought I would follow up for anyone who might've been curious.

I believe that's kind of the point.

Ah well there you go then.

I've only been half following threads the last few weeks. I've been looking at the pretty pictures here and there, but haven't been reading any of the words that go with them. So unsurprising really that I've missed stuff.

Yes! For now she is cancer free! There's always a risk of it coming back, but for now it's looking good!

One of the other things we'll be releasing in the next month is a new rifle based on the popular SLR/FN FAL. I call it the Bulldog, here's a WIP...

The Bulldug made me think of an L85 or a Famas, but I love the FN FAL more then either, and if you can you should make a version like the FN Para with the stock folded as well as unfolded, that way there be more options

But that is just mine own opinion

I'm just throwing this out there, but have you ever thought about doing some clear resin effects pieces? Like clear beams or muzzle flashes?

Oh man oh man, love this, LOVE IT!

I've had this crazy compulsion of late to make some beret wearing British Army circa the Falklands War IG types, now they can actually be armed with FN FALs (the British L1A1), its a go!

Folded stock versions would be very cool too, maybe as a second variant?

@Splod: I thank you, sir!

@don.mcclain & VikingChild: That should be easy enough, I'll take a look at tonight.

@Barzam: I have not, that feels a little outside of our focus right now. Next year Mad Robot will come back to more of a parts mode, reinforcing some of the lines we launch this year. Flash effects may be something to consider at that point.

When you do get back to more of a parts mode, maybe you could revisit the ideas given way back on pages 20-21 about 'relaxed pose' arm sets. :-)

I'm still looking for a fatigue arm holding a steering wheel.
