Hey Mad Robot, do you have or know of any pics of the Dragon breastplates with any sets of legs? They didn't have betls like a lot of the other torsos so I wasn't sure how they'd look with different leg options, or if there was a particular type of legs they were designed to work with. I went through a bunch of pages on the thread but didn't see anything except just the torsos.

@Chaz: That's our current Autocannon sitting on the new wheeled carriage. There is also a re-design on the tripod coming as well.

@knowman: the bottom edge of the breastplate hangs ever so slightly past the legs it sits on. I don't have any pics currently but I'll try to get one together for you.

Is the tank commander a single piece or multiple parts?

Is it just me, or does that turret look far, far larger than any GW tank turret? I wonder if this tank will be slightly larger than a Leman Russ.

@cuda1179: The turret is bigger than the LR. I believe the entire tank will be about the same width & slightly longer than an LR.

Turret looks good. Very Tiger-y. I imagine there will be gun options to represent most/all of the Russ weaponry?

Any thoughts on doing more vehicles for arty and/or APCs in the same vein?

@Blacksails: 5 weapon options in all, I'll post more previews as the release gets closer. I would like to do more vehicles, large and small, but that depends on how this first attempt sells. I can't see the sense of making a tank and then not making a different one to fight against it

Does its turret compatible with generic GW Lemanruss hull? is there an additional conversion efforts required? meow

Well, with this tank and the Maxmini KV2, maybe consider going American or British?
I'm full up on klunky main battle tanks but if you were to do a sleeker one more in like with the CDF or Van Saars or closer to an Abrams, I might pick one up.
APCs, Dropships/VTOLs, MRAP type stuff.. that's probably going to snag some of my cash pretty easily.

I know you've gotta do whatever sells but I'm much more fond of Vietnam to Modern Era armor if you're able to push in that direction..

MLaw, theres already a Abrams and a British tank being made, you just got to know where to look

swampy, I know where to get historical ones. I'm talking about sci-fi.. just like the one he is working on is a Sci-Fi tiger. Or do you know about something else?

Victoria Lamb may one day (dunno when, it's been quiet for ages now around that camp) release a sci-fi Matilda tank, with all the currently available weapon options for the turret and sponsons.

I know someone makes a sci-fi Abrams tank with roughly 40k proportions. It even has you use leman Russ hull weapons. I can't recall who makes it at the moment though. I do know I want one. It will go nicely with my kv-2, and this not- tiger.

Yuk.. That think looks more like the Pig-Iron vehicle.. which isn't a bad thing but the only thing Abrams about it is the turret.. which seems like it was swiped off a 1/35 or bigger historical kit. It's too tall or not wide enough.
Either way, thanks for sharing but I think this is a job for Mad Robot (cue heroic theme)
