I discovered during the painting of this mini a couple of things:
1) I need to have a wet tray for the paint (I knew It already doing my Orkz, but all the freehand I did on this figure was much harder with the paint getting dry)
2) Space Marines are a lot smaller 3) It's good to change a bit from the main project/color scheme sometimes
4) Yellow is a color
Now I'll be back with the Krazy Pak, waiting for an other little contest to push my game further, I really enjoyed this project
Just to let You know that I'm not quitting again , here the progress on the armor of the last two Nobz I have basecoated (missing one, but finished the spray )

Sorry to disappoint a couple of You ladz, but the hat is already painted in the boring grey of the uniform .
I guess It is the best for the overall effect of the mini as I'm nearly the end of the painting process (I now have a couple of days of freedom in which I'm planning to finish them )
On an other note, after a lot of marble effects going around I decided to try something different and had a go, this is my attempt to do marble effects on plasticard for basing.
The first four triangles are just a try to see if the method would work and color testers as well, the last one is the marble that i like the most, with proper lines of different color.
Also, I think I have to give It a coat of clear gloss paint....

Was just a "need" I had to get the last vote on that mini and You deliver straight away
On the workbench is the final try for the marble basing waiting for the beginning of a new army to arrive at my place: Slaanesh Chaos Space Marine When I'll start It I'll open a proper thread for It.
It will be just for the fun of painting them and to keep myself interested changing between Da Krazy Pak and the little new army (I'll never leave alone my Orkz, but I feel the urge to paint something else )

Big Mak "Bark'n'Laud" It's primed and tonight will start the painting process, I undercoated It with Ogre Flash 'cause my black primer It's finished, first mini with that...
let's hope for the best
Plus I prepared the bases for all my Nobz with slates and sand, those too will have a coat of color soon
