That's about the size of it. No offence meant anyway. I understand that some people have questionable social skills, it can make it hard to communicate with them. But it doesn't matter. We exalt the blog, not the person.

thanks for clearing that up, but i am a nice guy, what i said before was meant as a joke, and to the person i said it to, i have spoken to that person and also said sorry for any offence if there was any caused, which there wasn't, then loads of people started jumping on the band wagon and calling me rude, then posting that they were off, what it the point in that apart from making me feel bad, to be honest, i hope they closed the door on there way out, i don't want people like that reading this blog, most of all sheep.

if you have a question about modelling, then i will help, that's what this blog is partly about, that's why i post before and after photo's of my models, to sort of show you guys how i do it, not many on here do that and soon video's, i'm here to help you all if you want it, if you don't then im sorry lol

Cool, as I said, keep creating, that's all that really matters.

Ork Army War Trike TUT

ok guys, here is my Ork army War Trike Tut, i've tryed to keep things as simple as possible and use a small amount of bits and bobs, hopefully you may have most of it and the stuff you don't, just buy it from eBay.

First of all get yourself a Deffkopa, you can get them off ebay very easy, just don't pay more than £4 for an un-built one.

Trim it like i have, take your time, do it where the red lines are. put the bits lift over to the side, you can use them for basing on other models, don't for get to keep the Exhaust (marked with a small ring).

also the bits that are in the photo are what i will be using, i think that the orks on the Deffkopta are nobz in size, so im going to use a nob arm with pistol and a nob head (hahaha)(sorry)

I've built up the nob and trimmed up the handle bar (marked with a red ring), this is hard to do so if you copy this, take your time, if you mess it up, it will be hard to recover. don't forget you will need to trim the neck on the ork to fit the nob head (hahahahaha) or just use the ork head that comes with the kopta.

once you have him in the right place and looking good, its time to think about how big you want your trike to be, so place out your wheels and make a plan, see what feels right and looks right too.

next is the back wheels, you will need 3 different sized tubs, but they must all fit inside each other, you will see why in a moment. cut them like i have, file if needed, take your time.

now glue them together like i have.

then make a small round disk like i have, this will be glued on to the wheel to make a very strong join.

this will go inside the wheel, so check it fits, or you will be doing this again.

make sure the wheels are straight and it looks right, if it looks right to you, then that's all that matters.

next tidy up the back where some small holes will be from cutting, do what you can, add detail like back packs, ammo boxes and so on if you like.

next you will need to tidy up the front where the rockets were, this is done with a small bit of plastic card like i have, chip away at it to make it look warn.

ok the front wheel, make 2 small disk like i have, glue them on, 1 on each side, trim the rotor blade like i have and sick it on. file the tips (small red rings) so they are straight with each other, TAKE YOUR TIME, if you dont your wheel will look wonky.

no glue this to the front of the kopta, you will need to glue some support bars like i have, make sure this is straight, or this is heading for the bin, you may need to glue a beam / piece of plastic card to the blade tips then glue it to the kopta, it depends of what wheel us use.

then glue a beam at the bottom of the kopta, ringed in red, then glue your back wheels on, and leave to dry, but make sure it looks ok tho.

almost looking like a chopper already.

next cut some plastic card like i have, size is by eye, just use your head

then glue on.

do this on both sides, this is just to give it strength and a bit of detail.

next are some suport beams made from some smaller tube, cut to side and glued on.

next i stuck a small bit of card on to tidy it up.

trim up the Exhaust and glue on, (drill the holes)

now build up the front of the kopta with some plastic card, its not necessary to use card like the card i've used, but it dose look good (please don't ask where i get it from, i have a list)

next are the rivets, and for once i can give you the details of what i use, this is the rods.

chop a load up like i have and use a brand new model knife blade to pick them up, use liquid polly to sick, never use super glue EVER on any plastic model.

now you should be looking like this lol maybe

add some weapons, and some PVA glue and fine sand (dirt) and bingo, your there

Really like the gun on the AA trukk, i think i prefer the square ammol drums/holders/things to the round ones. Also, where did you get the guns on the trike in the tutorial? Especially the rokkit one?

Got my grot tank from wazz yesterday! For those who are interested, here's a size comparison with my FW grot tanks. Keep in mind that the guns haven't been added to the wazztank. Should make an excellent "boss tank".
