I kind of feel like that boss trike needs some mudguards to beef it up and look "bossy," but that's only IMO. It looks awesome, especially with the Boy gunner!

ok ok just for you big man
Automatically Appended Next Post:
ok guys, did some work on my Chaos Nurgle Rhino today, was trying to sell it on eBay as it was, but alass no bites, so im going full hog and going to finish it and the sell it for loads more, just to fund my next BIG project, hope you like.
Automatically Appended Next Post: skyfi wrote:these look good! The one with the double chain-glaive looks a tad wonky.
I don't know why, maybe the position of the weapon?
Maybe if he was leaning on it poked into the ground or something?
I'm really just nitpicking. He looks good as is.
The in game rules for these guys is they each should have a gun, which they do, and a powerklaw (or something equally killy looking like a big ass hammer or whatever, i think the chain glaive is fine for a count-as power klaw, some people might give someone crap about the one holding the axe though... like hows that guy strength 8??? which i realize means about 0 to you probably as you don't play)
and for some fun modeling opportunities... these guys guns can be upgraded to either be a kombi-machine gun and flame thrower, or a machine gun + rocket launcher. (the flame thrower and rockets are one time use per game and can't take both on same model)... I know I'm looking for the chance to model a meganob belching fire (even if his "count as" flame thrower was him burping into a cigar or something)
sorry Skyfi, i was ment to reply to you a while ago, but forgot, the Nobs in power armour are just a mess around, i was just playing to see how hard and long it takes to make them after seeing your Monsters, so as for spec (apart from the 40mm bases) they dont conform mate, if i was to make them again, then i would do it the way you have already said. as that helped me
Could we get a photo of the backpacks?
Have to say the git on the right is my favorite, kind of giving the bird almost, and the pose on the guy with the double chain glaive captures forward movement pretty well. could make him pointing his chainsay glaive forward like he's charging or something to play more on it.
Again, nitpicking. these look really good already. now show us dem fannies'

Think the nurgle car is quite funny and the GS work is rather old-school and comical, Nurgle is a twisted bastard, so it's right up his alley. Good job.

personally, I think it needs a lawn chair, corona, and a little drink umbrella.
not to mention the leisure-grot, soakin up the rays!
lookin really good waz.
I meant to ask how did the casting process work for you when you casted your own grot tank a while back?
If you could provide some links as to where you found the good info at, it would be appreciated.
Kinda wanted to give casting a go with the squigs I'm sculpting. (thought of casting my picket fence chariots too) but afraid of ruining original in mold making process

well that guy in the USA didn't want to do the casting any more, instead of telling me he didn't like my stuff (and i must admit it, i did rush it to get it to him, so if i could turn back the clock then i would of taken my time, oh well) he just fodded me off with a story he was going in another direction, hate it when people can't be honest, even if he just did it in a really nice way would of been good.
as for my own casting, all i did was make a one peace mould and pour the resin from the top, its the simplest way to make a mould, but making them is a right pain in the !!
here is a link to where i get my stuff from, if you ring them and tell them what your doing and the cost your willing to spend, they are very helpfull and get people like you and me ring all the time. as for going one step ahead of me, youtube is the place to go, so good tuts on there

oh man! did you get your originals back you posted him?
If i remember the tank correctly, I understand how you could cast the tracks in a one piece, as the "top" of the pour will marry into the side of the hull and not be visible..
but im how you did the hull in a 1 piece mold. i think i need to go back and look at it again.
I'll check them out, I appreciate you. for some reason I the thought of coating my styrene model in oil or something so the mold doesn't stick to it while forming then washing it irks me? I don't know why. I guess I'm just paranoid about losing original work.
Guess I need to quit being a big ol kitty cat.

So waz, how did you make your big gun wheels? I can figure out the "treads" on them, I mean how did you make the actual wheels to have depth (thickness)?

hahaha WAZ!!!!!!!
I love it
umbrella and chair came out really great!
@ git, from what I gathered he sandwhiched plasticard discs together, possibly with filler junk material. I think the fella in video used stirring sticks for wood planks on outside of a singler wafer which provided a lot of thickness. Honestly, I fast forwarded through the video due to bein busy
