in all seriousness though, this is lovely. The breeches on back of guns where orcs are loading them look great, as does the crane jerb you did there. Any plans of incorporating your leisure grots in here somewhere? Maybe some grots hidden off between some crates out of line of site of the rest of the gits. On one of your nice sun bathing chairs with an umbrella and cold one? this was really ace that ya did

naw ya need a few Grots shooting craps and gambling with some teeth, some where kind of obscure.

the craps shooting grots sounds pretty funny. could have both, its a hella-big ship haha

next post we see waz has full casino inside middle deck... squig fighting pit in the next.. micro fungus brewery in another area... lol

Wow. You took "more dakka" to the extreme mate! And the crazy dakkary goodness is still coming! I reckon a few supa rockets from the stompa kit wouldn't look out of place.

yeah i want to too, but where to put them ? so it doesn't look too silly

you could try to make a thorpedo outlet at the front of the ship and put one of those rockets into it. or a launchpad which is built into the deck of the ship, so only the top of the rocket can be seen.

Damn that thing is huge, seeing it on the shelf like that really makes it sink in. Loving it!

hi guys, here you go a quick update on some detail work, hope you like, all comments welcome.

thanks to CommissarKhaine, the money i spent at FW wasn't well spent as i feel the Smart bombs he said to make look better than the FW ones lol (git) but big thanks mate, i really like them and making them was fun, i have loads more to make now, just need to fine a place to put them all haha so thanks CommissarKhaine, your a star.

did some more work plank decking on the middle deck, just need a rail now and it will look good



the back of the ship, i wanted to make the 2 areas look different, so i did half as metal and the other half as wood, i will spray paint a "H" on the wood, there is still loads of wook left in this area, so its not done yet.

the deck looks great. must be a pain in the a... to do the wood planks over this huge surface. the little jet/bomb fighters look awesome.

Really nice, they feel quite Mario to me which I really like - come to think of it wasn't there a giant ship level in Mario 3? Is love to see a boss Bowzer, on that logic! Great work all round, really inspiring. I should so go back to my squiggoth...

its was a pain, but they look so good and will look even better after painting, so well worth the effort.

That's proper grotikaze stuff!

Wish I could make it a race but you have the advantage... I just had surgery and can only use one arm atm.


But I have been making progress non the less.



Only detail work left to do now.

Going to wait until I get my arm moving around again to start the painting though, not even going to try it with my( wrong) arm.

ok guys one of the last update i'll be doing for a while as this is almost done, i have just the engines to build and stick on then that's it, just the figs after that.



some detail work done on the decks, really like how they turned out






i finished my Forgeworld Grot smart bomb launcher, so now the ship has 2




HOLLY CRAP this was a pain, 20,000 rivets lol maybe, anyway hull now done, the back looks like a WW1 ship, love it.





made some port holes and window, so when you look in them you will see a room, and i may well do a small scene of some sort going on, might even light them up some how. just need to finish off the port holes though, as they look a bit bare

Although I do have one small issue the port holes at the front with open hatches, there is nothing in the holes ? FIX IT
