First of all, I would like to thank comradepanda for letting me shamelessly copy his planet, his thread can be found here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/419449.page

So far I have only managed to finish building one Valkyrie (I only got all this stuff this morning), so I still have another Valkyrie, two vet squads and a CCS to go.
Progress so far:

I'm not very good at painting, but I'll see how this turns out.

WOW, that is a crazy amount of detail there. I like the valk, it looks pretty good, not gaps are visible, and no unseemly mould lines are evident. Can't wait to see where this goes.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.

Someone asked me to update this thread, so here is more progress:

,
It's not much, but school has recently started up again.

Edit: Thinking of using these as grav-chutes http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/secrets-of-the-third-reich/weapons-packs/german-rebreather-packs/prod_6463.html, what do you guys think?

Small update the Vendetta (minus four lascannons) has an impaled terminator now:

Nice termie. I wonder how they keep the Valk from always leaning to one side with that thing on it's side.

The infantry look like they could luse some lightening up, as they are REALLY bright.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.

Impalied Termie is well... impalied.
Stuff looks good! i recommend getting a watered down black or brown to tone down the mini's as bright blue pants are not only fancy, but highly un warlike.

I'll say it. Implaled Terminator looks out of place and doesnt make sense there, (Hopefully you were'nt going to stick it on the Cockpit region as the pic was eluding ). If you want a trophy such as this to parade in front of your enemies, ( I am assuming that is the point), then why not string him up in the doorway or rear ramp of your Vendetta. A little greenstuff, a little wire, Boom, Done. Hell , the door gunner could use him as a shield. Just a suggestion.

... and 8 months later, some progress has been made.
After a change of colour scheme, they're coming along a little faster.

Almost finished the rest of the Stormtroopers, too.

You even got the same head! nicely done.

Now you can see regiments really differ!

Yeah, I just love these heads. Also, I think the regimental difference is due to paint available and skill with a brush, not just because they are two separate regiments.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Stormtroopers finished. I used Snrub's tutorial on IG special weapons for the meltas, and I really like them.

Thanks. It's nowhere near done yet, just glued down. I intend to paint it grey and then add some sort of snow effect.

use elmers glue, baking soda, and cheap white acrylic paint, mix in with a small amount of water to get the smoothness you want, and be done. Apply to base move on!
